Masjidu At-Tasfiyah Inc.
Address: 93 Oak Ave, Hempstead, New York 11550 Address for donations: Masjidu At-Tasfiyah, Inc. P.O. Box 2129 , Hempstead, NY 11550 About the Masjid: Bismillahi was Salaatu was Salaamu ‘alaa Rasulullahi sallallahu ‘alayhe wa sallam. Amaa b’adu. As Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala Says: “So be patient (O Muhammad sallallahu ‘alayhe wa sallam). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the praises of your Lord in the ‘Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkaar (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before mid-noon) [It is said that this means the five compulsory congregational prayers or the Asr and Fajr Salaat] (Ghafir 40:55) Alhamdulillahi rabbil ‘alameen for all of the mercies and favors that Allah gives to creation. Masjidu At-Tasfiyah, The Islamic Center of Hempstead, New York was established in 1992 by Imam Alpha Him Jobe and Imam Abu Sulaimaan (Abu Sameeha D. Haziz-Ramadhan). Imam Abu Sulaimaan studied under Imam Alpha Him Jobe (rahimahullah) for several years, the 'Aqeedah and Fiqh of Minhaajus Salafis-Saalih and the methodology of establishing the Sunnah in society, through knowledge, cultivation and patience. Imam Alpha Him Jobe graduated at the top of his class from Umm Al-Qura University, he was a secretary to the 'Ulama, and he was also the Imam of Masjid Rahmah in Jeddah, KSA. After establishing Masjidu At-Tasfiyah in its first location in 1997, Imam Alpha him Jobe returned to Allah. May Allah bless him for his efforts and accept our efforts as a Sadaqatul Jaariyah for him, Ameen. Masjidu At-Tasfiyah's formulation resulted from a consistent foundation of authentic Islamic learning and a careful examination of the unique needs of the Muslims in this area, and beyond. Thus, its aim continues to be providing the Muslim community with invaluable knowledge and resources, otherwise inaccessible in the Long Island area. Furthermore, by developing this Islamic base upon the da’wah of Al-Islam, the 'Aqeedah of Ahlis Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah, according to the minhaaj of As-Salafus-Saalih, Masjidu At-Tasfiyah was seen as an extremely beneficial factor for the general Muslim community. Masjidu At-Tasfiyah offers congregational Salaat daily, Salaatul-Jumu’ah, Darsul-Qur’an classes, weekly Islamic studies, a Hafidh program, Janaazah services, and distribution of sadaqah and zakaat. Our new location will house Masjidu At-Tasfiyah, Madrasatu At-Tasfiyah, an accredited school, which offers a comprehensive Islamic and academic curriculum, Maktabatu At-Tasfiyah our bookstore, and a marketplace for professional services, Suqu At-Tasfiyah. The Masjid aims to be a comprehensive and resourceful place for the Muslims, which will also include health care. We are making a request of our generous Ummah. Our Masjid has the opportunity to build a permanent musalla and madrasah, in our town. We are asking all of you to make du’a for the success of another Masjid of Allah, - a Masjid whose administration put forth a strong effort, Inshaa Allah, to change the condition of the Ummah in this region, in the hope of receiving Allah’s Mercy in this life and in Al-Akhirah. May Allah bless every Muslim who puts forth a good effort, Ameen. Please remember to make du’a for our Masjid’s success, and for those who are willing to make a donation, please donate generously to our pleasant struggle. We are grateful to Allah for the opportunity to introduce our Masjid to all of you, and we are thankful for all assistance the Masjid may receive from you. All donations made to our non-profit Islamic organization are tax-deductible.
