The Bigfoot Chronicles -- Another site devoted to the big-man, with numerous accounts, sets of data, hypotheses etc on the subject. In some cases there will be references to the Yeti and other possibly related species, because some of the most compelling evidence of a unspecified bipedal primate or relic hominid is of this ilk.

New species in Vietnam -- Until this decade, no new large mammal species have been described for many years. Our knowledge of the faunal diversity of Vietnam was impeded by years of war and limited international contacts. First found in Vu Quang forest reserve, which is in Ha Tinh province of north central Vietnam. Specimens are also known from Nghe An province just to the north, and it is suspected from Thua Thien-Hue province and Dak Lak in the southern central highlands. Based on this information, we believe that Pseudoryx nghetinhensis has a wider distribution.

Nguoi Rung, Vietnamese Forest People, Wildman: mythical or missing ape -- In 1982 Professor Tran Hong Viet, now at the Pedagogic University of Hanoi, found and made a cast of a footprint measuring 28 by 16 centimeters. The footprint is as long as that of many people but it is much wider. It is said that the toes of this footprint were much longer than those of a human. The footprint was found on the slopes of Chu Mo Ray (Mom Ray mountain) in the centre of the above picture. Chu Mo Ray is near the Cambodian Border in Sa Thay District of Kontum Province.

Cryptozoology -- literally means "the study of hidden animals." Cryptozoologists study animals that are as yet undescribed by science. The International Society of Cryptozoology is a professional organization consisting of scientists from all over the world conducting cryptozoological research. Their peer-reviewed scientific journal, Cryptozoology, is a wealth of information on a variety of appropriate scientific endeavors.

Cryptozoology -- the Study of Unknown Animals deals with animals as yet unnacepted by science, animals reported in areas outside their normal habitat, and surviving members of species believed to be extinct.

Dale Cozort's Cryptozoology Page -- the search for animals that haven't been acknowledged by western science yet. That search throws science and pseudoscience together in an uneasy co-existence.

Virtual Institute of Cryptozoology -- to anticipate the discoveries to come (isntead of hoping a lucky event), by collecting all the available data prior to the discovery, allowing to establish the possible existence of a still undescribed animal form.

Cryptozoology -- relies heavily on legends and folklore, and the stories and alleged sightings of mysterious beasts by indigenous peoples, explorers, and travelers. Since cryptozoologists spend most of their energy trying to establish the existence of creatures, rather than examining actual animals, they are more akin to psi researchers than to zoologists. Expertise in zoology, however, is asserted to be a necessity for work in cryptozoology, according to Dr. Bernard Heuvelmans, who coined the term to describe his investigations of animals unknown to science.

The UnMuseum of Cryptozoology -- Are there large, unknown creatures that survive today in remote lakes, or deep seas, or high mountain valleys? The coelacanth argues yes. If a species of fish can survive that long without being detected by man why not a sea serpent? Or a dinosaur? Or a primitive ape man?

Cryptozoology - the study of newly discovered, rediscovered, and still unknown species of animals. While much study concerns new species of bugs and invertebrates, we're interested in the monsters of legend and bad science fiction movies.

Cryptozoology Art Gallery and Definitions -- a current opinion regarding animals and biological life forms not currently classified in modern zoological data bases by William L. McDonald.

American Monsters -- a one stop guide to all things cryptozoological, where you will find all manner of corporeal fortean phenomenon, with an obvious emphasis on those entities which seem to have a genuine, biological connection to the environments in which they allegedly dwell.

CFZ, the Center for Fortean Zoology -- still on the track of unknown monsters. At the beginning of the 21st Century monsters still roam the remote, and sometimes not so remote, corners of our planet. It is our job to search for them.

British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club -- Founded in 1989 by writer James A. Clark, scientist Dr. Paul LeBlond and journalist John Kirk, the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club (B.C.S.C.C.) comprises a broadly-based membership of enthusiasts interested in the investigation of various animals as yet unidentified by science.

Cryptozoological Realms -- the scientific study of hidden animals like Bigfoot, Loch Ness monster, and Mokele-mbembe.

Cryptozoology is the study of hidden animals (whether large or small), to date not formally recognized by what is often termed Western science or formal zoology but supported in some way by testimony (in its broadest definition) from a human beings. It is not an excat science as much of it goes beyond scientific explanation and more into the metasciences.

Mythical Animals, Beasts, Cryptozoology, Unknown Animals, Monsters, Mythical Creatures -- the dowse guide to both mythical beasts and cryptozoology links on the web. Dowse is the creative person's guide to sources of information and inspiration.

Cryptozoology - Sea Creatures. In our vast oceans, there are still possibly many creatures yet to be discovered. Often, unknown sea creatures are labeled "sea monsters" and "sea serpents" when there may actually be a plausible (or not so plausible) explanation for what they are. Cryptozoology, the study of animals which do not exist according to science, attempts to make sense of some of these legendary sea creatures.

The CryptoWeb: An Online Encyclopedia of Cryptozoology -- still technically considered a fringe science, it is gaining more and more respectability as the track record of newly-discovered animals previously known from the cryptozoological literature has grown. More and more cryptozoologists are taking a practical approach to their science.

Cryptozoology Photo Album -- Bigfoot, Sea Serpents, Loch Ness Monster, Dinosaurs, Giant Squids and Octopi, Other Lake Monsters, Chupacabra.

Loch Ness Investigation -- Analyzing Nessie pictures, searching for evidence, separating fakes from facts. This is a factual web site detailing personal study of Loch Ness phenomena since 1967 by Dick Raynor.

The Cryptozoologist: Cryptozoology -- This site overviews cryptozoology, discusses some unknown creatures encountered around the world, and details the passionate pursuit of these species by Loren Coleman, author and editor of THE CRYPTOZOOLOGIST. Books and artifacts are listed for sale, and news in the field is changed routinely.

Bigfoot Encounters -- Report a Sighting or Encounter? This website attempts to provide the interested reader or research student with a general overview of the biology of the sasquatch to the same degree that one would expect from, say, a bear website.

Taking a Hard Look at Cryptozoology -- Cryptozoology is the study of still unknown species of animals. These cryptids, as they are called, include not only the Loch Ness monster, sasquatch and other "mega-monsters", but also many lesser known mystery creatures. (Some of these have more evidence going for them than the monster super-stars.) Cryptozoology often receives a bad rep because it is often practiced with little skepticism, or regard for scientifically supported facts and theories. Likewise, paranormal cryptozoologists do little to help the integrity of cryptozoology. It can, however, be a level-headed, interesting and possibly even scientific subject, if examined with open-minded skepticism and a scientific viewpoint.

The Legend of Nessie -- If it's information about the Loch Ness Monster you're after then this is the site to visit. With documented evidence, film, first-hand accounts, stories, scientific studies and expeditions you will find that we are one of the most informative Loch Ness Monster sites on the WWW.

Cryptozoology -- Have we found all the large animals still living in the world? Probably not, since in the last decade some previously unknown species have surfaced in Southeast Asia, for example. This page is dedicated to such animals -- commonly called "cryptids" -- which might possibly exist in nature but whose existence has not yet been accepted by modern science.

Cryptozoölogy -- People in modern society have less contact with wild animals than did our ancestors, and the vast bestiary of imaginary animals that were assumed part of the natural world in years past has dwindled down to a handful of remotely credible Bigfoots (and other Hairy Hominids), The Loch Ness Monster, the forest apemen of Vietnam, Goatman, Hodag, khting vor, "Champ" of Lake Champlain, the grisly Chupacabra, and such also-rans as Ogopogo, the Hot-Headed Naked Ice Borer, the Devil-Jack Diamond fish, the winged cats the Jersey Devil, the South American dog-eating eagle, and dead people who somehow avoid living in the past tense.

Strange Magazine -- the newest issue is now available exclusively online! In the pages of Strange 22 you will find the latest findings from the ongoing investigation into accounts of a photograph of a large pterodactyl-like creature mounted on a barn, with cowboys in front of it.

Talk.origins -- a Usenet newsgroup devoted to the discussion and debate of biological and physical origins. Most discussions in the newsgroup center on the creation/evolution controversy, but other topics of discussion include the origin of life, geology, biology, catastrophism, cosmology and theology.
