Describe yourself and your interests: = I am 29 years old, 5’4” and slender/athletic. I have long brown curly hair and brown eyes. At first glance, I do not look like your average geek, but once you start talking to me my inner nerd emerges and it all makes sense. I am divorced and I have a nine year old son. In my spare time I enjoy reading a good book, listening to music, going for a run, hanging out and watching sci fi. Some of my favorites include but not limited to: Torchwood, Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate Atlantis, Flash Gordon, CSI, Law & Order, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter – the list goes on. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music but my favorite is alternative rock/folk. I tend to have a sarcastic sense of humor. I am an animal lover and a vegetarian. I am always open to trying new things. I try to learn something new everyday.

Describe yourself and your interests: = I'm...weird. And complicated, and really simple to understand. I also do NOT have a wall which needs to be kept wet to keep something on the other side from coming through. I may be a horrible monster (yay!). I'm usually not on fire.
I'm also a slightly ditzy blonde, though my hair is a really dark blonde really light brown. With bits of red/purpleish. I like many things, including books and movies. Though the movies I like are rather wide in scope and seem to include many movies which have the main attraction that they have a lot of stuff that goes boom in them.
I'm a sucker for beautifull stories of beautiful lands far away, and people who wind up in them. For example, the Anime series 'El Hazard'.
I'm also a sucker for a good space flight sim, though the genre is dead so I'm pretty much reduced to replaying Freespace 2 or WCprophecy when I get in the mood.
I also tend to write like, way too much.
Describe what you are looking for in a mate: = Someone who is mew. Someone delicious, someone who understands certain apsects of crazyness. Someone who can put up a decent fight in various video games, and can work well with me on a team.
Someone who isn't frightened by the way I drive. Someone smart, cuddly, and probably Polyamorous so as not to be driven to blehness by me being so. Someone very smart, because smart is SEXY!

I tend to read voraciously, I'll read anything that comes out of the science section and the sci/fi fantasy too!
With the reading a little bit of movies sneaks in. I love musicals and good sci-fi drama movies. Boom is good I like boom...but I like script to go with it.

I'm looking for someone who I can just sit and watch cartoons with, or maybe discuss the 3 laws of robotics and the implictions that they have. Compainionship is the must.
A dry sense of humor is always needed, I've watched way too many British comedies to not have one.
Everything else is open. I would just like to meet new people and maybe even find someone speical..who knows? If the truth is out there then so are they...

Describe yourself and your interests: = I do a lot of things with my seven year old son. He's really into Star Wars (I mean all night and all day star wars star wars). So we play xbox star wars and some other game, and he played some role playing star wars with his uncle, but killed the beggars who were pestering him with his light saber and ended up fighting the authorities over it. I'm 44, lift weights, read sci-fi, Sword & sorcery, like RPGs (not rocket-propelled grenades),raging waters,particle & astrophysics pop sci books, like relating my last RPG fight "blow by blow" including wildly improbable dice rolls (not!). Not really into Star Trek (except the old show) or Stargate Atlantis,Battle star Gallactics and stuff like that. Action/sci fi movies of course, computer/console military strategy games (Odama, Kohan II), learning a little Spanish, going to help my son do some star wars thing for youtube. Going to the park is nice, I play a little tennis (about matched with my 11 yr old daughter). Don't do cardgames except maybe Bridge, Whist or Pinochle,like most kinds of music (except country,rap,disneyfied pop,and newer R & B),learned to listen to sappy love songs without cringing. I'm taking accounting classes to be eligible for more promotions. I read a little history and philosphy, current events, listen to DemocracyNow!,NPR,Jim Lehr while doing housework, exercising. I play a little bass and electric guitar and can carry a tune. Chinese, Mexican food and Pizza rule, but I'm on a diet. Maybe I'll see if I can revise this when it's not 2 am and I'm a little more lively in the thinking department.
Describe what you are looking for in a mate: = I'm looking for someone I find attractive (aren't we all),who has a gentle spirit(is that the same as easygoing?)and is curious about things in life. Not necessarily in that order. Affectionate is good too, or why wouldn't I be looking for a best friend to hang out with instead! Someone that,if they have kids that are grown up is willing to deal with kids again and accept me with my son (and daughter,who stays with my parents). Liking rock music would be a plus, but I can share the radio or CD player. I would like to find somebody I can be myself with and to whom I can spread a little sunshine into their lives. I've never had someone who asked me about my day - that would be nice once in a while.
