WHO AM I ?

I was born in Nabeul, capital of the "Cap Bon" and a north eastern coastal state in Tunisia. But, most of my family is living in a neighboring city : Dar Chaabane El Fehri. The town is famous for his stone-carvers whose decorative work  is found in dorways and windows. It is there where I spent most of my life. I did all my before undergraduate education in this city. I attended my first 6 grades at "El-Bechir Nebhani Primary School" which was at about 100 feets from my home to the point that I used to leave my place when I heard the school bell ringing. The last 4 years of my undergraduate studies I spent them in "Mohamed Bechrouch Secondary School" where I got my Baccalaureate in experimental sciences which is a specialty more oriented toward medical and pharmaceutical studies . However, I dicided to join "IPEIT" Preparatory Institute for Engineering Studies at Tunis, the capital of Tunisia to persue an enginnering career. After 2 years at this institute located in "Monfleury-Gorjani" north part of the capital I joined "EPT" Ecole Polytechnique of Tunisia where I spent my last fabilous 3 undergraduate years. Eventhough it was a multidisciplinary school, by the end of the 2nd year, I prefered to focus more on civil/mechanical engineering and joined the MEST MEchanics and STructures option. Simultaneously with my last year, I started my Computational Mechanics Master program in collaboration with Tunisia Polytechnic School and Virginia Tech. By July 2005 I was awarded my Engineering Bachelor diploma from Tunisia Polytechnic School and moved to Houston Texas by September 2005 to start my PhD in micromechanics with Sharma's Group at the Mechanical department of Cullen College of Engineering in the University of Houston.
