EPISODE 4

I call him Lucifer

“Hey who is that?” Itsumi asked Yuki. They were hiding behind a corner looking at their new employee. He had short blonde hair and dark blue eyes. He was a little bit shorter than Yuki. Itsumi had fallen in love with this man. He did not look like a custodian at all, he looked like he was better than Channel 18. Itsumi could see that he looked so sad in his custodian slavery uniform. He was mopping the floors with a sad look on his face.

 

“Whats up Gale?” Yuki asked walking up to the custodian. He gave him a pat on the back.

 

‘Oh god, my life is freaking ruined.’ Itsumi said, a little of her soul lay splattered on the new clean floor.

 

“Oh my god, Yuki,” Gale said “You look so different from our acting days.”

 

‘Acting huh,’ Itsumi said leaning in to hear more of their conversation, she was still in hiding though.

 

“How goes the acting career?” Yuki asked his friend.

 

“As you can see from this uniform, there is no calling for me.” Gale said, his eyes looking down on the newly mopped floors.

 

“Who is this fine man?” Mine asked walking up to Yuki and Gale. Itsumi glared and ran to push Mine out of the way but slipped on the newly mopped floors.

 

Gale looked at Itsumi, who was sprawled on the floor, in horror. “Miss are you okay?” he asked getting on his knees to help her up.

 

“I think I twisted my ankle.” Itsumi said, she looked like she was about to cry.

 

“Great acting.” Yuki said to Itsumi.

 

“You idiot, I really am hurt.” Itsumi mumbled. Yuki sneered and walked with Mine (who was completely lost) back to work.

 

“I am so sorry about this Miss.” Gale said. Itsumi was in heaven. He lifted her up and she squealed. He grinned “Don’t worry Miss, I have helped many damsels in distress.” Itsumi melted in his arms, they slowly made their way to the office.

 

Akira hated his job now. Yuri’s dog was getting in the way of everything. Akira had to watch his movements closely or the dog would chase him back to his room. Mine didn’t have any luck either. She was forced against her will to work with Yuri for a couple of days. To her it was complete hell. Yuri himself was a very mean man behind closed doors. His smile was just for show.

 

“Um Yuri,” Mine began. “Your coffee is ready.” She walked to him but tripped and spilled the coffee in his lap. His face winced in pain but he still smiled.

 

“If I give you a sword, would you commit sepuccu.”

 

“I’M SO SORRY MR. ISHIDA!”

 

“Oh you called me Mr. Ishida is that supposed to add points to your pathetic job? Is it?” He sneered. Mine backed away in horror as she realized that the nicest person happened to be the meanest person in all of Ameyawa.

 

“Can I please work with Itsumi. Please Yuki?” Mine pleaded. Yuki was too busy filing his fingernails to actually care. “Are you finished yet?” He asked glaring at her

 

Mine glared at Yuki with hatred. This man too was an asshole. She couldn’t visit Akira either because he was shut up in his room all day.

 

“Akira”. Mine yelled as she banged on his door. She slowly walked in and froze in horror. Akira was pale as a ghost.

 

“Akira. What the hell?” Mine screamed.

 

“I HAVE TO MURDER THAT DOG.” Akira said. There were dark circles under his eyes. He was going insane.

 

“Akira!” Mine said shaking him. He looked in the doorway in horror. Lucifer just showed up and started to snarl his teeth at Akira. “He’s not going to hurt you.” She walked to him and set her hand on his hand.

 

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Akira screamed.

 

Lucifer chomped on Mine’s hand and would not let go.

 

“Um…” Mine said before she was dragged away by Lucifer. Akira watched as his best friend was literally dragged away.

 

“That sucks.” Akira said as he slowly sunk into the darkness known as his room.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------“Today on 3 O Clock Happy Hour, we say hello to two new shows. The first is the super drama known as My Goodness You’re dead.” Itsumi began.

 

“It’s about this one chick, who I don’t absolutely care for, finding her husband lying in a pool of strawberry glaze.” Yuki said rolling his eyes.

 

“She then finds it as in invitation.” Itsumi said

 

“Only to find out sadly, her husband died, and the strawberry glaze…”

 

“Was blood!” Itsumi yelled.

 

“No it was merely a distraction for the girl to make love to her husband. Meaning she left fingerprints everywhere. The husband was suffocated, so now the whole police are after her.” Yuki said

 

“She must prove her innocence in this short 13 episode drama. We will start airing this masterpiece sometime in November. The other show is called Stereotypical Teenagers Save the World.” Itsumi said

 

“What is this piece of crap about?” Yuki asked sneered.

 

“Um…The title is self explanitory.” Itsumi said giving Yuki a dumb look.

 

“Who cares, the shows are going to blow.” Yuki sneered.

 

“We need to keep our opinions to a minimum.” Cree said behind the camera.

 

“Opinion this bastard cameraman.” Yuki said throwing a book at the camera.

 

“THIS IS 3 O CLOCK HAPPY HOUR SIGINING OFF.” Itsumi yelled.

 

“Where is Yuri?” Yuki asked picking up the book he threw at Cree.

 

“He is on the set with a massive Tiger and that douche of an actor Kin Kawa.” Yuki said laughing.

Yuri stared in horror at the camera. There was a massive white tiger on his desk. He glared at Skah who kept snickering, ‘I wish I could sick that white tiger on your ass Skah’ Yuri said. He began throwing food at Skah hoping the tiger would notice and kill him.

 

“We’re on now.” Skah whispered kicking the food away as fast as he could.

 

“Our next special guest is the biggest star in Ameyawa. Everyone clap for the sensation known as Kin Kawa.” A tall man with brown curls entered the room. He had a magnetic button up shirt on and all the girls were going wild, while the men looked they were about to jump his ass.

 

“How are you Kin Kawa?” Yuri asked as his guest sat down next to him, he looked at the tiger and patted his head. The tiger growled. Kin suddenly flashed all the girls. The girls screamed, many of the fainting. Yuri looked at Skah and shook his head. Skah continued laughing.

 

“How are you Kin Kawa.” Yuri asked.

 

Girls were still screaming.

 

“How are…” Yuri began.

“ANSWER ME YOU SON OF A BITCH!” Yuri yelled. Luckily no one heard him. Kin looked at Yuri and gasped. “I am so sorry, I can’t help it though. I am that sexy.” He said unbuttoning his shirt. “Whoa a tiger!” Kin said.

 

“You really are a dumbass.” Yuri said under his breath. “Well how is your movie going Kin?”

 

“The movie is going excellent,” Kin said in an arrogant tone. “Hell, what can I say? The women find me irresistible.” Kin said unbuttoning his shirt again making the girls scream. Skah zoomed in on Yuri’s pissed off face and laughed. Yuri cricked his neck and Skah moved his camera back to Kin.

 

Yuri was frustrated now beyond all reason now. He looked around the room to stop this madness and all of a sudden his eyes fell on the tiger’s food bowl. He also noticed the tiger’s back was to the camera and so was the food bowl.

 

‘This is way too easy’ Yuri said sneering. He cricked his neck and Skah still had his camera on Kin. Yuri quickly petted the tiger with his left hand and scooted the bowl close to Kin with his right hand. The tiger got closer and closer to Kin without him realizing it.

 

Kin buttoned his shirt and sat back down, his right hand behind the bowl. The audience could not see the bowl though. Yuri snatched Kin’s right hand and slammed it on the food bowl.

 

“What in the hell are you doing?” Yuri asked shocked. The tiger started growling at Kin, who was dumbfounded.

 

“What’s happening?” Kin asked confused.

 

“Tiger’s are protective of their food, you dumbass.” Yuri said putting on his shocked face on. He pinched the tiger and an instant later the tiger’s mouth latched on Kin Kawa’s face. The trainer couldn’t do anything to help the actor.

 

Yuri covered his hands over his mouth; he could not stop from laughing.

 

“Yuri, you are indeed a scary man.” Skah said shaking his finger at him grinning. The audience was trying to get the tiger off of Kin’s face.

Lucifer growled at Akira, he accidentally tripped over him on his way to the bathroom. It was midnight everyone was asleep. They were about to air the first batch infomercials at 2 in the morning and the aftermath of Kin’s near death experience loomed over the whole news channel.

 

Lucifer started to walk towards Akira. He quickly pulled out a pair of scissors. “You damn dog.” He said slowly walking towards the poodle.

 

Lucifer lunged himself at Akira.

 

SNIP SNIP

 

Lucifer jumped past Akira. His little afro was snipped off; Lucifer glared at him and started to bite his ear until it bled. The dog howled in pain and sprawled on the ground.

 

“What the hell.” Yuri said running in. He looked at Lucifer bleeding on the ground than at Akira, who had the scissors in his hand.

 

“What did you do to my dog you bitch?” Yuri asked completely ignoring the patch of Lucifer hair that was gone.

 

“I did nothing.” Akira said hiding the scissors.

 

“Bullshit!” He said punching him in the stomach. Yuri’s fist felt like a ton of bricks. Akira fell to his knees and passed out.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------“Hey wake up!” A voice shouted waking Akira up. Akira came to and suddenly realized he was in Tennosuke’s room.

 

“What the hell happened to me last night?” Akira said

 

“You assaulted the dog and Yuri kicked your ass.” Tennosuke said.

 

“That damn dog. I hate him.” Akira said.

 

“That damn dog actually likes you.” Tennosuke shouted.

 

“Pardon?”

 

“The dog gives you the upmost respect.” Tennosuke said.

 

“That’s creepy.” Akira said leaving his room. It was almost morning and he had to regain some of the color that had left his skin because of his fear of the dog.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------“Okay everyone, Fresh has come up with a new idea.” Kai began. They had another conference. Akira made sure to sit away from Ms. Tramp. Lucifer was sitting by Yuri.

 

“God that dog creeps the hell out of me.” Akira said to himself.

 

“Fresh wants us to do another opening.” Tennosuke said

 

“WHAT!” Yuki shouted, “The one we are using right now is priceless.”

 

“No”, Kai began, “The one we are using right now is total crap. We need to make ours more appealing, which means we make it more…How should you say it?”

 

“He means more erotic.” Yuri said with a disgusted look on his face.

 

“I have a friend that wants to direct the video.” Kai said with triumph in his voice.

 

Fresh sat near Lucifer making him growl.

 

“Um Tennosuke, Is that a good growl coming from Lucifer?” Akira asked backing away from the dogs.

 

Lucifer grabbed Fresh by the neck and threw him across the room. Fresh landed on the ground on his back.

 

“WHOA!” Kai yelled.

 

Fresh jumped on to Lucifer and bit his ear. Lucifer tossed Fresh off his ear. Fresh jumped on his back and bit his tail.

 

“STOP THIS AT ONCE!” Yuri yelled.

 

The dogs continued to fight ignoring Yuri and Kai.

 

“What the hell is wrong with your damn dog?” Yuri asked.

 

“Your dog is the epitome of Satan himself, attacking a small defenseless dog.” Kai yelled

 

“Actually Kai, your dog started this.” Tennosuke said leaving.

 

“How could innocent Fresh start this fight?” Kai asked cocking his head to the side.

 

“ENOUGH!” Yuri yelled and picked up Fresh. Lucifer was about to bite Fresh but there was a change in victim.

 

“Get your fangs out of me bastard.”Yuri growled. Lucifer’s eyes grew wide with fear as his owner grabbed the Ameyawa Sunday Press. “Bad Dog!” He said smacking Lucifer with the paper. The dog still looked at him with big eyes.

 

Lucifer started howling, louder and louder.

 

“What the hell is he saying?” Yuri asked.

 

“The dog is screaming because he has been defeated.

 

Yuri looked over at his arm to see a huge gash. Blood was spurting everywhere. He smiled and passed out on the floor.

 

“Is he okay?” Akira asked kicking Yuri with his foot.

 

“He is afraid of his own blood.” Ms Tramp said watching Yuki and Itsumi slowly escaping the room.

“Well that was odd.” Akira said walking into Mine’s room. “That dog gave Yuri fifteen stitches.”

 

“Poor Yuri,” Mine began “That dog tore through his arm.” She was putting some jewelry on. She had her back turned towards him. “Did they say if he was okay or not?”

 

“Actually, he is right behind me.” Akira said pointing behind him.

 

“Hey Mine.” Yuri said waving his arms.

 

“Did they say if he was okay or not.” Mine asked ignoring Yuri.

 

“I’m okay Mine!” Yuri yelled.

 

She threw her shoe at Yuri nailing him in the groin.

 

“I think he is still recovering from his injuries.” Akira said with his mouth open in fear.

 

“Damn he pisses me off” Mine said leaving the room making sure to step on him.

 

Akira slowly followed her. They walked to the balcony and watched the Ameyawa sky.

 

“I love this job.” Mine said standing on the railing.

 

“Me too I have never had this much fun in my life.” Akira said hugging her.
