Full Biography:
Ryan began to write songs at a very young age. Then in 8th grade, he decided to stop playing football because he wanted to learn how to play the guitar.
Ryan made his first steps into music when he was in high school in his first punk band: Caine.
He just wanted to play the guitar but he didn't have the choice and was thrown as singer then he became the leader of the band.
A short time after the band's creation (two days later), Ryan wanted to change his style of music and to make music similar to Dave Matthews.
Then after that, he left his electric guitar and bought an accoustic one and he created a second band: Rubix Groove.

With the help of his older brother, Marc, RG became one of the most famous bands in Dallas. While they were still in High School, they began to make real concerts, playing multiple shows a week in a lot of clubs.
With all this fame, the band had the opportunity to share the stage with some big artists: Cheap Trick, Third Eye Blind and Ben Harper.
But when Ryan's brother brought him to a studio for his birthday, things totally changed.

In summer 2001, even though he was only 19, Ryan took a break from touring with his band (Rubix Groove) because he wanted to record his own album ("Elm St").
He spent long days and nights working on all the songs that he was going to record.
His hard work was worth it! Hundreds copies of "Elm Street" got sold in Dallas and on some online stores, which is a lot compared to the number of copies that were released.
Because of the success of his album, Ryan decided to really focus on music and to drop out of the university of Texas.

Then he had an audition with Linda Septien, a respected vocal coach from Dallas, she also was a coach of Jessica Simpson. He had an intense trainning during 2 years.
In 2003, Joe Simpson recognized Ryan's talent and immediately signed him to his management company (JT Entertainment) so he became his manager.
A few months later, he finally got the chance to sign a record deal with "Atlantic Records".
The writing process of his second album ("Take It All Away") began.
Ryan chose to co-produce his album with John Rzeznik, member of the band Goo Goo Dolls. The album got released in 2004 and had a huge success!

"Elm Street" beleive me! it's not the easiest album to find!
"The Moon Under Water" Just came out on May 13,2008 but it was very easy for people to find, it will probably become hard to find in the future though.
"Take It All Away" is certified double platinum disc. Some months only after its release and while touring, Ryan started to work on his 3rd album ("You Stand Watching"). An album that he decided to produce by himself.
Almost a year after the release of TIAA so in 2005, YSW is out. The album was really great but there was no real promo from the management and it didn't get the same success as the previous one.
Because of this, the fans decided to promote it by themselves and thanks to them, the album got certified gold!

A 4th album will be released late December 2007 or early 2008 along with, maybe, an overseas tour.
