Radical Changes!
The clan has went through some major changes lately.  We have moved people around on the rosters to make it easier for everyone.  Fist roster has all people that play most every night.  There are 2 or 3 other rosters of people who only play once or twice a week.  I will update the roster on this web site as I know more.  We are always looking for scheduled clan wars.  If you want to war RX, leave a comment in the guestbook and I will set it up.

News 4/05/05

We have a whole bunch of new players that recently signed with us.  Alot are younger players that need some direction from the more "seasoned" players.  At present, RXFORDEATH has three rosters.  We will be moving to four very soon. Roster 1 will be the roster with all the original players minus Quaelude.  Roster 2 will be headed by Quaelude.  Roster 3 will be for the 10 and under players and handled by Morfeen.  Roster 4 will consist of all the newest players.  We are making this change to get all the original players on the same roster and all the new players on their own roster.  This should make getting people together for clan wars easier.  Anyone who wants to lead the 4'th roster, leave me a email or sign the guestbook and we will get back with you.

NEWS - 4/1/05

The KIL clan is still talking trash.  I'd say let's clan war them but I don't think their mommies will let them stay up past 8.  I think the only cookies they will see is the cookies and milk they get before bedtime.

Clan roster updated today.

Upcoming CLAN war!? Or just a night of babysitting?
Hey guys (& girl), check out this website.  http://www.freewebs.com/ccrackmann/  It belongs to DG's lil bro.  He wants to clan war us.  Maybe we can win this one.

All RX clan members please send me some info about yourself.  (hometown, some facts, etc...) I need to update the Clan Members page.  Send some pics of whatever and I'll post `em also.  My email is:  rxfordeath@cox.net  or just leave some info in the guestbook.

RXFORDEATH is always recruiting!  We are looking for a couple good snipers and a few decent players.  WE DO NOT CHEAT, GLITCH, OR RANK-UP!  We will not tolerate this.  We play for fun and rank means nothing to us.  If you would like to try-out, leave your SOCOM name and when you are online and someone will contact you.  Leave your info in our guestbook here on the site or look for Rohypnol or QUAELUDE online.  The spelling is exactly as you see here, no weird characters and capitalization is correct also.

NEWS - SOCOM 3!

SOCOM 3 is finally coming!  Scheduled to be released this fall.  You can view screenshots and some check some links out that I have posted.  Keep checking back as I will try and update this often....  Click on the navbar on the left for more SOCOM 3!

Zipper Interactive developing new team-based shooter sequel for fall release; first screens inside.

Sony has formally announced plans to release a third game in the popular SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs series this fall. The game, unsurprisingly called SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs, will take place in new theaters of operation, contain improved artificial intelligence, and an all-new weapon attachment system that will let players customize their weapon loadouts even more than they could in the past.

SOCOM 3 will take place in Morocco, Poland, and Bangladesh. All-new streaming technology will be employed here, which is said to increase the size of the game's single-player maps by five or six times over what was seen in the previous SOCOM game. To help compensate for that size, single-player missions will have checkpoints, allowing you to save your game midmission. The missions will also have multiple paths to success.

The ability to swim is one of SOCOM 3's new ability improvements. You'll also be able to operate vehicles, including Humvees, light strike vehicles, technicals, T72 tanks, an SSCR assault boat, and a customized speed boat. Communicating with your AI-controlled team will be altered a bit--the game will now give you a context-sensitive button that will command your team to move to a specific location, breach a door, and so on. This will be in addition to SOCOM II's already robust AI-control system.

Speaking of the AI, it will see some improvements as well. Players' team AI should be better at assisting you, and the enemy AI will be better equipped to coordinate with one another to form smarter attacks against your SEAL team. Weapon customization sounds like it could be a big part of SOCOM 3. You'll have 31 weapons to choose from and 21 different attachments, making for more than a thousand possibilities.

Sony and Zipper have revealed this information about SOCOM 3's single-player component, but information about the game's online side has yet to be revealed. The game is currently on track for a fall release on the PlayStation 2. GameSpot will have more on SOCOM 3 as it becomes available.
