About the Author:
R. Wagner was born October 26th, 1967 in the Southwest region of Virginia. He has traveled extensively, settling in Calf. for some odd years. R. Wagner soon found his way back to the foothills of Virginia.
R. Wagner began writing at the early age of six. He could read and write before he was five, and soon his love for poetry was sparked. His love for the art was founded through the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe, when he was eight. Soon R. Wagner was constructing his own poems, stories, and lyrics. His love for writing soon led him onto the path of music. He is self-taught drummer, guitar player, and piano player. R. Wagner played in a gospel group for many years called "Evidence", later scheduled to tour with Marvin Winans until a member became ill.
R. Wagner has two children, Sydnee and Tela, and a stepdaughter Stephanie. His constant companion is that of a black lab named Baby-Girl, who he lovingly shares with his wife, Erica. She is also a writer that will be releasing her debut novel in Spring 2005. Her works can be viewed at www.freewebs.com/ericastewart.
R. Wagner is currently being reviewed for publication. This will be his debut book of poetry. While waiting to hear from his publisher, R. Wagner spends his time as a studio tech at "Lighthouse Studios" in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.
