David and Annemarie have been involved with showing Gundogs for a number years, having great success in a number of breeds particularly Weimaraners and Gordon Setters having won CC's in both breeds.  David has judged nearly all gundog breeds at Open Shows, and Junior Handling at Open & Championship shows.  David is a B list judge for weimaraners.

Our current show team consists of the weimaraners Sh Ch Gunalt Muse at Rutilus JW and Sh Ch Gunalt Inquisitor at Greyfurs JW (co-owned with Marion McAngus) along with the Gordon Setters Lourdace Bootlegger and Birchgarth Fools Gold with Lourdace JW (co-owned with Jose Baddeley) and not forgetting the GSP, Puddledub Paramour (co-owned with Fiona Reed).

We attend most championship shows each year and a few open shows too. We try to always present and show our dogs to perfection, ensuring they are always in tip-top condition, which is no mean feat and takes a lot of hard work and dedication from all of those involved with the dogs we show.

Our emphasis is on quality not quantity.  There has only ever been one litter of Rutilus weimaraners to date!  On the rare occasion we breed we try to keep the welfare of each breed as our paramount concern, hence we only breed from the best of stock, undertake the appropriate health tests and endorse the pedigrees of our puppies.
