Auto Accident with Entrapment and Flyout

  

12/7/06  Engine 505 along with other units responed to this overturned cement truck with entrapment. Engine 505 arrived on the scene to find the driver pinned. The patient had numerous injuries that required him to be flown to Fairfax Inova Hospital. Rescue 504 handled the task of extrication while Medic 555 handle patient care while extrication was being performed. All units cleared in about 2 hours. Structure Fire

 

12/4/06  Engine and Tanker Company 505 on a structure fire in 6's first due. Company 5 set up the dumpsite. All units cleared in about 1 hour.

Plane Crash

 

11/21/06 E505 and K505 along with other units were dispatched for an aircraft down. Units arrived on the scene to find this plane into a tree. The pilot had minor injuries and refused transport. E505 remained on the scene to assist with lights for the State Police.

Station 5

Station 5 is located at 12826 Marsteller Drive in Nokesville Va.  We are in Prince William County and are assigned to the 1st Battalion.  We run an Engine and Tanker during career hours, which is Monday thru Friday from 0600-1800 hrs.  The volunteers staff the units on Nights, Weekends and Holidays.  We have seven career personnel assigned to the station.  The career staff consists of a Lieutenant, 3 Technician II's and 3 Technician I's.  Engine Company has serveral major hazards in it's first due with railroads and pipelines running through the first due.
