Rustler Farms is located in the beautiful town of New Liskeard, now called Temiskaming Shores.

I've been around horses since I was 7 yrs old and I still have my first horse Princess , now 28 yrs old, and she has foaled 4 beautiful colts for me.3 of which are Dakota's. I've done many years of barrel racing with Princess, she won many ribbons and awards during our 15 yrs of riding with the TPHC.

She is now having a great retirement with a occasional ride from my 2 girls.

My horses have great pedigrees and are very good natured and have good sturdy, well built bodies. So have a look around on every page as they will be a price beside the ones that are for sale.....

Prices range from 600.00 to 3500.00 and trades and payments can be arranged.

weanlings to 6 yr olds....

Trailering is always available with purchases.

Josh Lyons Symposium Clinic Info:

Clinic is in english but is also available in french.

Friday Evening: 7PM to 10PM
Josh will use his personal horses to demonstrate performance riding, and have an interactive Q&A with the audience.

Saturday: 9AM to 5PM (1 1/2 hour lunch)
Josh will break out the unbroken horse. Introduce the horse to the round pen, establish good ground control, the first saddling, and mounting/dismounting the horse. The majority of the day is spent with the unbroken horse to get a good foundation to start building on. Josh will also use his personal horses to demonstrate where the training is leading to, and what would be expected.

Sunday: 9AM to 5PM (1 1/2 hour lunch)
Josh usually starts with part II of the unbroken horse. He will bring out the horse from Saturday and show where he left off, and start introducing his legs. Int he afternoon, here can be a trailer loading demonstration, to show the steps to take when fixing problem trailer loaders, or for just teaching the horse to load for the first time.

Here are some of the techniques that will be discussed during the symposium.
>Learn how to use the round pen.
>Bridling for the first time.
>Teaching the horse to accept the equipment. (bit, saddle, saddle blanket)
>Dealing with the horse's fear
>Mounting and dismounting
