Rushmore Equestrian Club

The dressage championship took place on a very warm evening at Chelsfield Equestrian Centre.  We had 2 classes for the championship which were Prelim 18 for all those placed in the Novice section and Novice 34 for all those placed in the Open.  We had a good turnout, and due to the very hot weather, competitors were allowed to ride without jackets.  We would like to thank Chelsfield EC for allowing us to use the venue and to all our helpers.  A special thank you to Wendy Smith for organising the whole series.  Over the series we have been holding a points league for a voucher for CanvasRus.  The winner was Liz Dougil and Lancer – Well done.  The results are below.

Dressage 4^th April

The first of our dressage competitions went ahead on a very pleasant evening on 4 April at Chelsfield Equestrian Centre, Church Road, Chelsfield, Kent.  The test was Prelim 1 and we had a very good turnout of competitors.  We would like to thank Chelsfield EC for allowing us to use their facilities, and to all our helpers on the night.

At each competition over the series, competitors will be awarded points, and the winning competitor scoring the highest number of points collected throughout the series and final, will be presented with a Ł70 voucher prize kindly donated by canvasRus. Visit canvasRus.co.uk for inspiration.

The dressage series is also a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour, competing for a place at their championship show at Great Bookham EC on 26 and 27 September. Details about the sunshine tour go to www.gbec.info

The next dressage is on 9 May 2009, then 6 June 2009 and Championship Saturday 4 July 2009.

Walk and Trot Test – 22 November
