A bit of information on Gypsy Horses~

They come in all shapes, sizes and colors. There are many "names" associated with this breed of horse (Irish Cobs, Tinkers, Gypsy Cobs, Gypsy Vanners, Gypsy Horses, Coloured Cobs, etc.) Bottom line is that they are the same horses with different names depending on the region, the Registry and the people referring to them.

   

 The Gypsy Horse ~

They have been bred by the Gypsies for a particular "type" for generations. The Gypsy Horse evolved from selective breeding by the "true" Gypsy  People and Romany Folk.

The Gypsy Horses are strong, sensible, docile and gentle. They are one of the most loyal horses being incredibly hard working as well as beautiful animals.

They exhibit the heavy feather on their legs, long flowing manes, forelocks so long to the end of their noses with lush tails in many colors. These horses are magical to look at and watch..... like something in a dream..... Being in their presence is one of life's most beautiful moments as they inspire confidence and beauty...Very few ever exhibit a bad disposition.. The trust and mutual affection between these horses and their owners is indeed one of lifes most precious experiences...We are thrilled to add Gypsy Horses to our life and we know you will be too.

Our Gypsy Horses are also "eligible" for all the Gypsy Horse Registries, it is up to you which one you choose or all of these registries.

            Our horse presently Registered/DNA with the GHRA and soon to be GHA.

Princess, Top Notch Gypsy Mare foaled a stunning filly Sired by Duke in 2009. (Re-Bred to Duke for 2010)

This 09 is Full sibling to 08's Hannah below! These girls have awesome bloodlines (see pics/ped link below) and exhibit awesome quality for this mating that we decided that we must have a third born from this mating:)

2008's Hannah is very intelligent, quick learning, gorgeous, sweet, beautiful moving tight cob with tons of hair and quality feather. She has quite the wonderful personality as well as comical at times in play:) I could watch her forever and her nick name for a bit was Happy Feet Hannah the way she happily prances and grunts:) We couldn't be more thrilled with this filly!
