The 2010 Runestone Gokart Association Educational Scholarships

Five Scholarship Guidelines

1. Individuals applying for an Educational Scholarship must participate in two of the work days of the season. Dates will be posted on the website runestonegokart.com

2. The Runestone Gokart Association relies on three major fundraisers throughout the year. Individual applying for an Educational Scholarship must participated in two of the fundraisers of the season.

3. Individuals applying for an Educational Scholarship must show good sportsmanship and follow the code of conduct the board has set in place. See code of conduct page.

4. Individuals applying for an Educational Scholarship must have competed in all 14 races of the 2010 Season.

5. Indivduals applying for an Educational Scholarship must write a one page essay on their educational goals for the future.

The applicant must complete the application by October 1, 2010 to be considered to be a recipient for an educational scholarship given by the Runestone Go-Kart Association. The educational scholarship will only be given to the recipient, if after graduation from high school, he or she has enrolled in a two year technical college or a four year college. The monetary scholarship will be written out in an order of a check to the school upon showing the proper papers of enrollment to a secondary school. If the recipient chooses not to attend a secondary school with-in two years of graduation from high school the educational scholarship will be forfeited and remain in the educational scholarship fund for the Runestone Gokart Association. A certificate will be presented at the 2010 banquet and should be kept for personal records. Please fill out the application in its entirety and mail it to Runestone Gokart Assoc. Scholarship Board.
