Skills
Here's a list of skills in RuneScape and what you can do with them. Some may also have skill guides.
- Agility: Allows you to climb certain walls, walk across some logs, and swind acros rivers on vines. Very useful skill to get places in a hurry, or to access hidden areas that would only be accessed with this skill. Member's Only
- Cooking: Need to cook that piece of beef? This is an important skill allowing you to cook a huge variety of foods including meats, fish, and other things too.
- Crafting: With this skill you can make leather clothes, chop your assorted gems, and make lots of different kinds of jewelry. Members also enjoy the ability to make glass stuff and Battle Staffs.
- Firemaking: If you're going camping, you should learn to make fires to cook that last minute food over so that you've got something to eat.
- Fishing: There's many kinds of fish to be caught in different places of the game, not to mention all of the kinds of lures, baits and fishing poles to catch them with. Fishing can also be a rewarding skill, offering lots of money for fish that you can catch.
- Fletching: A Member's Only skill enabling you to make powerful bows and arrows to help you during your ranged attacks. Member's Only
- Herblaw: Does mixing potions sound fun? If it does, you should try out this skill. Member's Only
- Magic: The ability to cast spells to hurt monsters or change your stuff to gold or bones into bananas can be quite useful in the game.
- Mining: Using a pick to get ore from a rock can be hard, but it's well worth the effort!
- Prayer: Burying bones can raise your level, and prayers can make you stronger, or your opponents weaker.
- Ranged: Attacking monsters from far away gives you the advantage of not being hurt!
- Smithing: Using this skill to make a new set of armor for money or for your own use can come in very useful. It also pays to be a good smither!
- Thieving Ever stolen anything before? Well if you decide to train this skill you'll be doing lots of it! everything from cakes to handfuls of gold to gems and spices can be stolen from all over RuneScape. Member's Only
- Woodcut: Not only can you cut trees down to build a fire, but Member's can chop down special trees to be used with Fletching!
