Silk Trees - A Jedidiah Burdick feature film
This trailer was edited by Wisler, which then got him the job of doing the final editing of the film itself to help improve passing and story structure.

This is the trailer Mikel cut form the feature film, Silk Trees, for which Mikel was also the 1st AD. Mikel is now serving this project as the finishing editor for the final polish.

When Overdun Productions needed to tell a story in thirty seconds, they hired Mikel to write the scripts for two commercials and then direct the casting and shooting of both spots. Kyle Bainter, from Overdun, did the camera work, utilizing Mikel's dolly for some of the shots, giving the spot a more national look with subtle movement, good composition, and and quick editing. The commercials are running in Northern Indiana.

Editing and Underwater B-roll by Mikel J. Wisler (Avid, Sony HDR-FX1 in an Ewa Marine housing)
When Explore Media needed B-roll shot on the water, or just under the surface of the water, they hired Mikel. Using his Ewa Marine, he captured dramatic shots coming out of the water, right on the surface, and could watch boat roll by, tossing waves about. Then, in the editing room, Mikel was able to craft together a story from the visuals and interviews that show just how passionate people at Startcraft Marine are about making great boats, and how much the people who own a Starcraft appreciate it.
