Okay so you've downloaded mIRC

You'll get this screen when you start mIRC. Run mIRC from your desktop shortcut.

Now do as written in the picture
If there are any difficulties with the picture please follow these instructions
Full Name: ANything you wish
E-Mail: Enter your e-mail ID
Nickname: Enter the nickname you want to use
Altenernative Nickname: Enter your alternative nickname

After typing in those, Press the OK button or press Enter in your keyboard

Now this screen should pop-up

Type the addresse of the place you want to join
e.g
/server irc.ircstorm.net

The /server directs mIRC to connect to the addresse you will give
irc.ircstorm.net is much like a website addresse. WWW is fixed so is irc.

After connecting the status window(the window where you typed /server irc.ircstorm.net)
Will stop spewing forth garbage in 2000RPM. It'll stop
If your nick is registered, You might wanna type in your password within a minute
e.g
/ns identify <password>

Now, The next thing you might wanna do is join the room you want to join. Do this
e.g
/join #teen-chat

/join is the command to join a room

You can add a specific room to auto-join so, When you connect to the server it'll automatically join the room without your help this simplifies and comfortizes things :P

To change your nick type
/nick <nickname>
e.g
/nick RummanRulzCauseHeMadeThis

Sometimes you need to change your nick to the one you registered, to do that type
/nick <nickname>
Then
/ns identify <password>
E.g
/nick Rumman
Then
/ns identify rulzcausehemadethis

These are the advanced commands

To kick a user, Type
/kick <channelname> <nickname> <reason>
The reason is optional
e.g
/kick #teen-chat PedoMan Stop Cybering!
Or
/kick #teen-chat PedoMan

To ban someone, Type
/ban <nick>
E.g
/ban PedoMan
