RUG THUGS BENGALS

We are a small TICA registered cattery located in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Our name derived from our first two bengals: one neuter brown marble male, Ow, and a brown spotted queen named Tootie, fondly called the "RugThugs". Our bengals quickly took over the house and remain an active part of the daily routine here. Ow is my special buddy and very tolerant of our two small children.
Having a cattery is new for us in 2007. Our cats live indoors with children, dogs, and two birds. They also have an outdoor enclosure where they can enjoy the warm weather and feel the grass while staying safe at home. At RugThugs we believe no cats should be allowed outdoors unsupervised. Any photos on our site showing cats "free-roaming" was taken during supervised playtime, in an enclosed yard.

LOOKING TO ADD A BENGAL TO YOUR HOME?
If you are looking to add a bengal kitten to your home, please research the breed. They are active and vocal kitties and need lots of stimulation and affection. Some bengals do not littertrain completely, especially early generation cats, although many modern bred bengals do. We are happy to talk with you about bengals and help you find a kitten or retired breeder. Any kittens we offer are as happy loved pets and family members, no breeding kittens will come from RugThugs anytime soon-we still have way too much to learn!

We do not have any litters planned for 2007, but feel free to email us to check on when we might. We have one adult available as a pet only, look at our "available kittens" page to see her. Check out our gallery page for pics of our bengals doing what they do every day at our house.
