Rufus Stone - Stoned 'n' Confused

He formado un nuevo grupo “Piedra De Rufus”, (traduccido al inglés, “Rufus Stone”). Yo, Gary Farrell, cantante, compositor, guitarra principal y vocales; Lionel Sardena guitarra base y vocales; y Dave Diggle, percusionista y apoyo vocal. El nombre “Rufus” viene del Rey William I. Su hijo se llamaba Rufus, y fue matado por su primo en un accidente al cazar. Puede leer todo de Rufus en internet – ir a Google y buscar Rufus Stone. También, es un lugar donde pasaba muchas veces y pensaba que es buen nombre para un grupo. Con mi grupo anterior, Red Hot & Blue, viajamos por el Medio Oriente y Alemania. Hace cuatro años vino a España. He realizado mi música en muchos gran lugares como LA y otros lugares en E.E.U.U. con los grupos “Thick as Thieves” y “Polyester”, tocando la música de los años ’70. Hago conciertos solos en muchos lugares por la zona de Torrevieja, La Marina y Santa Pola. Estoy conocido por llevar una gorra y siempre llevo uno en mis conciertos. Me encanta tocar vivo y es mejor con la participación del público. He sido influido en mi estilo por la música de los años ’50 y me encanta la música de los Beatles porque tengo historía en Liverpool. De momento, tengo disponibles 2 CDs; “Stop Over” con todas las canciones escritas y registradas por mí; y un CD de guitarra acústica de canciones cubiertas. La experiencia mejor que conozco es la sensación cuando haces tu propia música y ves el artículo terminado, abres el CD y lo tocas la primera vez.  Gary Farrell, Lionel Sardena and Dave Diggle are the three members of Rufus Stone. Although based on the Costa Blanca the band can be found playing in countries across europe including Germany, Ireland and the UK. 

 Why Rufus Stone.......?

Well, quite simply it was a place that Gary used to drive past regularly in Hampshire and always thought it would make a good name for a band. It is actually a monument marking the spot where Rufus, son of William 1st, was killed in a hunting accident!!
