IS RUDIMENTALITY DEAD?
NO. But we are in a coma. Here's essentially what happened - when we had closed a while ago, a very prominent artist from tapspace.com had emailed me and requested that some material, a lot of which was actually his work, be taken down from the site. I have nothing but respect for this guy, and his wishes were obeyed. A few days later I was emailed being told that the sheet music itself, which was hosted at photobucket, was removed due to copyright infringement. According to a couple lawyers I've explained this to, I've technically done nothing wrong, but I am not about to go to court against one of my idols. Therefore, NO, you can not get private sheet music on this site. My excersizes and solos will be hosted because that's my wish.

HOWEVER

Legally there is nothing wrong with sharing this sheet music privately. If you want something that was on this site, and you have something to exchange, email me. My information is on the Contacts page. I can not give it to you straight away, but I have ways to help you obtain it, very easily. This site will turn from a free resource to a sharing market. If you have something you want to be published or shared, I will HAPPILY accept almost any piece you can offer, and this will be added to a shared community list. Leave your thoughts on the comments section. Thanks guys. Keep drummin'.

What is rudiMENTALITY? - Rudimentality means having the knowledge and understanding required to be a great percussionist. Here, you will be able to find sheet music for developing better chops, a percussionist dictionary, quick lessons, videos for inspiration, and more. For me, personally, I wish for this site to be something everyone, begginer to professional, can use. Too often do young drummers rush into the complexities of drumming without ever having a good grip on the basics. Here, you will develop the foundations of your skills while progressing mentally into new concepts and styles.

Who is the webmaster? - I am a young percussionist of 12 years living in central New Jersey. I began drumming in middle school, and am now studying for a degree in Music Performance and Education in Rutgers University. I marched in Manalapan High School for 4 years, ending as a section leader and composer, and then returned after graduation as a percussion technician. For years I have been writing cadences, warmups, and show music. In 2006 and 2008, I marched with The Raiders of Wayne New Jersey in Drum Corps International. I have been taught under numerous instructors, including Jason Promus, David Flatelle, Tom Mastro, Jamie Szienberg, Colin Bell, and Dennis DeLucia. I have been and currently am the percussion caption head for Manalapan High School. This will be my 3rd year as a caption head. I am also currently a member of the Rutgers University Drumline.
