RUBY CANYON

Ruby Canyon is a unique Hamilton-based duo, playing everything from 70s folk tunes, to modern pop songs with an acoustic twist, and somewhere in between lies the band's distinct originals. Its members, Adam and Michelle, both graduated from Mohawk College's Music program in 2007. Adam has been taking classical voice lessons since he was a wee lad, and Michelle has been writing folk songs since she picked up her father's guitar at age 12. Now they've decided to show the world (or at least southern Ontario) what happens when you arm two young musicians with guitars and fresh vocal harmonies. The result? They have no idea what genre they are, but they're calling it folk-rock-pop for now.
