Welcome to 4th Grade!

Mrs. Triolo's Class

Testing . . . One, Two, Three

We are in the middle of our week of NJASK 4 testing.  The students are working hard and I am sure they are doing well.  Thank you to all families that have and will be contributing breakfast for the students each morning.  It starts their day right    with a full belly and lots of brain power!

After testing, we will be in the home stretch of 4th grade.  We are working on our New Jersey project in Social Studies.  The students are doing a lot of research and finding out some very interesting things about our great state.   Reading will resume, along with spelling and writing. We will continue working with fractions in math.  Homework will continue, so please be sure to continue checking your child's planner and sign it each day.  Please remind your child that homework is part of their grade and must be turned in each day.

We will be going on our field trip on Thursday, May 21.  It will be a great day of fun and exploration at the park in the morning, and enjoying the play in the afternoon at the Strand Theater.  The next week, Friday, May 29 our class will have field day.  Please be sure  your child wears appropriate clothing and sneakers for these activities.  I also strongly suggest wearing sunscreen and bringing a bottle with them so they can reapply later in the day.  Lastly, be sure your child brings a lunch to school on both of these days.

We will be busy with a lot of fun activities in May!
