I've brought the Official Updates section up to speed finally. With the recent unbalanced trade removal, Runescape has been difficult to bear with. I can't even hand my friend a few hundred noted lobsters because he needs them for the future, or ask my friend to help me make bow string by running my flax to me. I'll get around this, and also hope on the idea that they are planning on developing some sort of a gifting system that helps both the normal player and continues to stop real world traders. I understand what Jagex's purpose was; real world trading is bad, and anyone that does it is pathetic on every scale. You need the money? Do it a legit way like getting a job, loser. Anyway, that's about it with the updates. New pages are still pending.

After a week of toil and hardship coming from the many angry faces of the Runescape community, Jagex has come to their senses (as expected) and has announced that some editing will be done to help accommodate the issues of the players. There has been nothing done yet, but a few changes to a few systems will be completed as well as a new "item-lending" system in the works. The Grand Exchange will also see a makeover. In other news, the Bestiary and Jargon sections are under construction right now, and I don't see an upcoming release date for either of them as they are both pretty long. More ideas will be coming to the website, as well as a list of possible role playing classes and a connection to the Pescaderia boards.

Today was a very big day for Runescape. Jagex made so many new changes to the game, all being extremely drastic to how the game works. You can see them all in the Official Updates section; everything under December was released today! The message boards had a player rush of complaints of all forms, with the result of 3 of my 5 ongoing suggestion threads dying in the process. Luckily I saved my two most important ones.

In other news, if you check over to the Skill Guide section you'll notice that each skill now has a list of quests which offer experience in that specific skill. Before you max out a skill, make sure you've completed all of the quests listed for it so you don't miss out on free experience! That is all for today's updates.

It has been a very long time since I last updated; unfortunately I lost taste in it for a while. Perhaps for the next few days I may work on it once more, but I cannot make a promise as of now. The Official Updates section has been properly brought up to date.

One thing I am excited about is the new Summoning skill mentioned now for the past month which will be available sometime early 2008, most likely in January. This skill will feature the ability to summon a diverse amount of creatures, with numerous different functions. Some may include combat functions, while others may aid you in skills. The different functions these will bring are unknown at the moment, but there are some interesting sketches that were given to us in order to satisfy our hunger. Here are some:

The anticipation begins!

Ignore that last News report, I've completed the Interface section tonight! I had a little spare time and got my wits together to finish the job, and now it's completely done. Now that that project-of-a-section is over, I have another large section to make (not going to reveal any information, and it'll take a very long time) and who knows what else I might find worthy of adding for tomorrow.

I've completed the Menu System segment of the Interface Guide page, as well as the Mini Map segment. The page is nearly complete, with only needing the Chat Box segment left. I'll have to finish that tomorrow, if I have the time, and this wraps it up for today's updates.

Yep, Jagex has updated Runescape and the information has been added to the list in Official Updates. Unfortunately, the update was but a simple quest, so the list didn't get much at the moment. You'll find the new quest name and a new slayer dungeon listed! Apart from that, the quest rewarded with standard experience to a few skills.

Alright, yesterday I was pretty busy, but I'm back on my feet today. So far, I've updated the Interface Guide section with a new Options Menu section. By the end of today, I hope to have the next menu, or possibly the entire section completed. Also, later today we may be expecting an update from Jagex for Runescape. I'm not 100% sure, but if we do, I'll update the Official Updates section and post it up here. Be sure to look here later for any "updates on updates".

I've released the beta version to the Interface section. It's accessible, and viewable, but isn't finished. I hope to finish it before tomorrow. The interface section deals with explaining the interface to people that just started playing or haven't played yet, more importantly explaining the four divisions of the interface: game screen, mini map, chat box, and menu system. Of course, there isn't much to explain for the game screen, but still!

I updated the website format a little. Instead of having large aggravating words for titles and subtitles, I've developed a series of higher quality pictures to make it seem more formal and modern. Hope you like them.

Updated the Skills section with a couple more paragraphs of information and a nice graph showing the experience required for each level up. I've also enhanced the website banner.. hope you like it.

I've released the sections "What is Runescape" and "Skills". "What is Runescape" features some statements on the actual game if you are new to Runescape, as well as a graph showing the differences between free play and membership. "Skills" features a list of skills, divided by free play and membership, with a brief description of each. The skill list may improve over time.

Welcome to RScoop, the unofficial fan website for Runescape. Today is the initial release of the site, so don't expect much. All that can be viewed so far is a simple Official Updates page, featuring updates for Runescape in a listed format. I'll be updating that page monthly. But don't leave and come back in a month.. I'm going to be updating the site even further with new pages of original content. But what type of fansite is this going to be? It isn't going to be your average oh-god-I-need-a-walkthrough-because-I-suck type of site. This place is going to display content on explaining the game itself, information on the game itself (in listed format), and basically data to help inform new and non-existent players of Runescape. I may also feature a page with personal graphics made for Runescape, such as banners and icons.
