dont be fooled by thoes sites that say you can "get millions in hours", thats just a bunch of bogus info,  they didnt earn that money from that account, they took it off of their own account, i bought the guide that was supposed to make me money, i didnt make any money off of their guide, i lost money, so here is a FREE guide on how to make money:

1) ok, here it is strait, making money is not very easy unless your a member, i will be discussing members money later on in this guide, when you first enter the game, you only have 25 gold and a couple other cheap items, i would suggest keeping all the items you can get, first off, train on goblins until your a little higer, pick up every item and bury every bone you can get from goblins, after this, you can start getting better items because you can kill higher things.

2) Quests can give you a pretty good ammount of money if you do some of them, for example, i would suggest you do the rune mysteries quest, its not very hard, once you get done with it you can mine rune essence, get a pickax and mine around 100 rune essence for starters and for the better miners around 1000, sell them at the varok east bank for around 25-30 gold pieces each, you might find a buyer, 100 rune essence will give you around 1k which is good for a beginner player, if you get 1000 essence you will bring in 35k and you can affoard a rune full helmet, good job, for thoes who are a little higher you can do the black knights fortress quest, it only gives you 2.5k but its the most money you recieve on a non members quest.

3) skills are one of the good ways to get some money, if you have a high mining level, you can mine coal, gold, and many more, you can sell these for a pretty good price, here are the price listings

copper: 5 gold

tin: 5 gold

iron: 8-10 gold

silver: 25-30 gold

coal: 100-200 gold depending on the buyer

gold: 100 gold

mithril: 1.5k-3k gold

adamantite: 12k-15k

runeite: 20k-30k

if you want to woodcut then you will need a pretty good ammount of wood to sell higher, here are a rough getdown of the prices, they arent very accurate because i dont really know much about wood prices

regular logs- 5gp

oak- 10 gp

willow- 30 gp

maple- 50 gp

yew- 300 gp

magic- 1000 gp

fishing is a very good way to make money once you hit level 40, here is a short guide on how to get to 40 fishing in around 3 hours:

buy yourself a small fishing net and go to draynore village to fish in the spot south west of the bank, get your fishing up to 10 and then go buy yourself a pole and as much bait as you can (if you cant affoard bait then ask other fishers if you can have a little bit of bait, usually you can get some that way) fish until high enough to use a fly fishing rod, go buy some feathers or ask other players for some or kill chickens for some, fish until you can use a harpoon to get tuna, dont fish tuna just yet unless you really want to, tuna are very slow and you wont get that many, stay with fly fishing until you are level 40 fishing, THEN go to karmaja island with a lobster pot and about 60 gold for a round trip, fish lobsters and just fish them until you can get swords. store all the fish you get in the bank and sell them to players cooked or uncooked 

runecrafting is a good way to make money because if you can get it high enough you can make some very good runes that players love to buy. to make it easier to acess the rune temple, put a tierra and a talisman in your inventory, locate the talisman and enter the temple, click "use talisman" on rune crafting stone to fuse the two together, now all you need to do is wear that tierra to get into the stone. here is a rudown on rune prices

air, fire, earth, water- 4-10 gp ea

mind- 30-50 gp ea

body- 5-20 gp ea depending on buyer/seller

chaos- 100-150 ea

cosmic- 30-50 gp ea

nature- 300 gp ea

law-300-1000gp depending on buyer/seller

players will sometimes hire people to do things for them. for example i was gona give a person run legs if he were to get me 500 natures

4) members only

clue hunting-

my personal favorite aside from looting, here is a god way to make money off of clue scrolls, go to the level 2 man hut in edgeville, use a fast and semi-acurate weapon, like a dds or obby knife, keep killing lvl 2 men till you get a clue scroll, then follow its diections and you will reap sometimes good rewards, you can even get saradomin/guthix/zamorak pages from lvl 1 clues

 

5) marketing

 

marketing is a very good way to make some money, basically what you do is buy low, sell high, thats how i made my money, always find out what certain things are worth before you go buying and selling

 

6) begging

if you are really desperate and want some money, usually you can come up to a high level (lvl 75-126) and ask them if they have anything in their bank they dont want or if you can have free things, usually they give you stuff, ive gotten 10k and a bunch of mithril stuff from begging a long time ago.

7) wilderness

the wilderness is dangerous, but if you can get deep in there and back out with out dying, then you could get some pretty good stuff. first off, pking (player killing) is an effective way to gain wealth, if you can kill another player with a skull over his/her head then the end result could be $$$ or just bones

also there are several respawn spots in the wild where various items such as a steel platebody or a saphire or a gold necklace respawn, i would suggest looking for these respawns, if you get enough of them, it could be a good thing, a good way to rack up on thoes respawns that take forever to come back is to switch worlds and pick them up on each world, here is a map of all the non-member spawn points i could find.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And my personal favorite wilderness money maker is looting, the art of stealing items, here is a basic rundown of what to do:

get a lvl 3 character (explained later)

play on f2p:

go into the wild via varok wilderness, go north until you find yourself at an area just a little south east of the chaos alter, this is a pking hotspot, another is the hill giant just a couple levels north. wait at either of these locations for a clan to come by, fall into their group. if they change worlds stay where you are. when you find a group that wont change worlds stay with them. when they kill someone stand in the spot that the person died, after around 1 minute or so the items will appear, this is where you click on that spot until you cant hold any more items or they are gone, get rid of any items you dont want and run the good stuff to the bank, the reason you have a lvl 3 char is because then the pkers cant kill you and you reap the rewards.
