'R' Rabbit Habbit is a small rabbitry located in Southwest Washington, near Mt. St. Helens. Our rabbits are actually kept in two separate locations, Castle Rock and Vader. We maintain a total of about 75-85 breeding animals at a time.
'R' Rabbit Habbit is a collective effort by myself, Wileen (Wil); my mom, Barb; and my three teenage sons, Collin, Colby, and Cameron. We are all involved in 4-H, the boys are in FFA, and we are ARBA members. I received my first rabbit way back in the spring of 1975 - a cross breed meat rabbit I named "Buggs" (and who we later found out had ear canker) - and we have had rabbits ever since. Dad is still in denial and wants to know when the rabbits are leaving.
We currently raise Californians, New Zealands (black), Palominos (golden and lynx), Silver Martens (black, blue, chocolate), Havanas (black, blue, chocolate), Dutch (tort, black, harlequin, gray), English Lops (solid and broken), Polish (blue, chocolate, black, lilac in solid and broken), and Mini Lops (broken and solid).
