The story of Final Fantasy VII starts off with the members of a resistance group known as Avalanche, on a mission to stop Shinra, a big organization. The main character is Cloud, who is a member of Avalanche. At one of the earlier points in the game, Cloud crosses paths with an old comrade named Sephiroth. Together, Cloud and Sephiroth have a history behind them. They know each other from SOLDIER, a group of soldiers where Cloud used to work. This is the point where your journey begins. What is great and unique about the story of this game is that it is very emotional. The story will make you happy, sad, and angry at the same time. By many people, FFVII is known to be the greatest Final Fantasy ever.
