Runes
Runes are characters from several different Nordic Languages and are used to predict the future. There use is similar to the use of tarot cards and many Of the symbols have the same meaning as some of the Tarot cards.
The Characters in this set are from the Nordic alphabet, Elder Futhark, and are divided into three groups, each containing eight runes. Each group is called an Aett. Tyrs Aett, Freyjas Aett and Hagals Aett.
Casting Runes
The Runes are thrown or cast onto a cloth. After they are cast three sets of three are chosen and those are the Runes that are chosen for divination.
Freyjas Aett
The first of the three groups contains the Runes, Feoh, Ansur, Thorn, Ur, Rad, Ken, Gyfu, and Wyn.

Feoh
This symbol stands for cattle, and cattle where a sign of wealth. It may be material wealth or whatever may lead a person to that wealth. 
Ansur
Ansur Represents power, learning, communication, and wisdom. It represents communication in either the spoken word or written word. This Rune also represents instruction, inspiration and influence.
Raidho
Raidho represents travel, wheel, and ride. It can also mean a spritual quest as well as an actual form of travel., movement in a person’s life. This Rune is connected to the number two. Be careful of things that may have two sides.
Thurisac
Energy, defense, time to look back at the past and time to look ahead. Thorn can be used to build barriers, good or bad, As well as good or bad luck.
Uruz
Uruz represents the strength of an animal and what that strength can be used for. Be careful how much strength is used. Ur also concerns freedom, courage, both physical and spiritual strength.
Gebo
It could be a bond between two or more people, a personal bond or business bond. Life may become more pleasurable. It may mean an increase in money.
Wunjo
Joy, harmony, happiness. Total harmony with life. Friendship fondness. A loved one comes home. Close cooperation with people.
Kenaz
Seeing, insight, inner knowledge. To understand. To light the darkness. Spiritual illumination.
Tyrs Aett
Tyrs Aett includes the Runes, Tyr, Man, Beorc, and Ehwaz. Lagu. Ing, and odelo.
Tiwaz
Tiwaz is the Norse god of war and justice. This Rune means Courage. It is known as the Rune of love. Be prepared for opportunities. Success may be found.
Mannaz
This Rune relates to mankind and Shared experiences. Take a careful look at all legal and business matters as well as relationships. There may be trouble in these areas.
Berkan
Renewal. New beginnings such as a birth, a wedding, a new job or new relationships. Time to examine ourselves. Take a good look at future plans. Healing, purification and recovery.
Ehwaz
Relates to a horse. This Rune shows a strong relationship. Like the relationship between a rider and the horse. Changes for the better. Trust, Faithfulness. Journey.
Laguz
Water, risk. Like a risk a boat may take on the water. The sea may be calm or very unforgiving. Life may flow like water flows. This Rune may also mean lack of control.
Dagaz
Light, awareness. Shedding light on problems. Good time to start new projects. May be a good time to look at things from a new perspective. Signifies growth, achievement, and brightness.
Ingwaz
This Rune means the end. Time to end the old and begin the new. But much work may have to be done before starting something new. Associated with male fertility.
Othala
Othala means home. Both spiritual home as well as your familys home. An inheritance may come into play. It may be inherited money or an inherited trait. It will be something that will be passed down to your grandchildren.
Hagal’s Aett
Heimdalls Aett contains Haglas. Nauthiz, Isa, Jera, Eihwaz, Pertho, Augiz and Sowilo
Haglaz
Unexpected interruptions, a change in direction. When drawn it may mean it is a time of reflection and possibly time to make changes.
Nauthiz
This Rune symbolizes need, hardship and adversity, but with perseverance to endure. Limitations run high and thinking before making a decision is critical.
Isa
This Rune relates to ice. It could mean a cold relationship, personal or business. It may be seen as an obstruction. It may be best to leave something or somebody for a while.
Eihwaz
This Rune is strongly associated with the yew tree. Since the wood from the yew tree is a strong wood, it was used to make bows. It is also a flexible wood. Eoh can also mean endurance.
Sowilo
Symbol of victory. Symbol of light over darkness, good over evil. Relates to the sun so it may cast sunshine or hope where it is needed. It may also mean good health or good luck.
Jera
This symbol means harvest or reaping rewards. It may be a good time to end a situation and begin a new one. It is also connected with justice.
Augiz
A symbol of protection, healing and success. Its hang suggests a hand reaching up to protect. Make time for yourself.
Pertho
Pertho symbolizes friendship, comfort and fate. There may soon be a challenge or game. You may find hidden knowledge. Peorth may also refer to birth.
Wyrd
The 25th rune or blank rune is called Wyrd. This Rune has no historical meaning but was added in the eighties. This is a Rune of fate or karma. When this Rune is drawn a major life change is going to take place. It may even mean death, but it may mean it in a positive way.
