Famous Haunted Locations in Hollywood

AND OTHER INFORMATION FOR THOSE VISITING LOS ANGELES...

THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS IN THE LOS ANGELES
AND HOLLYWOOD AREA ARE DEFINITELY HAUNTED,
MANY SAY BECAUSE SO MUCH YOUNG ENERGY HAS
BEEN LOST HERE, AND SO MANY DREAMS HAVE BEEN CRUSHED.
THERE'S ALSO THIS EERIE LIGHTING AND ATMOSPHERE TO THIS
CITY, I HEARD SOMEONE SAY IT'S PARTIALLY FROM THE SODIUM
VAPORS FROM THE STREET LIGHTS REFLECTING OFF THE SKY.
IT'S STRANGE THOUGH, FOR SURE, KIND OF LIKE A
HAZY "WIZARD OF OZ" TYPE EFFECT.

PEOPLE FOR YEARS HAVE WITNESSED DEFINITE STRANGE OCCURRENCES AT THESE PLACES:

THE GEORGIAN HOTEL, 1415 OCEAN AVE., SANTA MONICA
many strange occurences and ghost sitings
have occurred in this hotel where
Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Bugsy Siegel,
and many others stayed, especially in the restaurant.

HOLLYWOOD FOREVER CEMETERY, 6000 SANTA MONICA BLVD, HOLLYWOOD
is considered one of the most haunted
 places in this city.
Many of the older Hollywood stars
are buried here, as is Rozz Williams,
whom this website is devoted to.

The Cathedral Mausoleum
Valentino's lover/possible mistress
"The Lady in Black" ghost has been spotted here many times.

The Psalms Mausoleum:
 Clifton Webb's ghost has been
spotted here many times after his
death and burial in 1966.

HOLLYWOOD TOWER HOTEL
Also known as the Tower of Terror.
The fifth floor has been the location
 of multiple jumping deaths.
I'm told that it's actually one
room in particular that this has happened in.
I'll tell you which one it is as soon as I find out.

This hotel in particular is very eerie, even just looking at it from the outside.

THE KNICKERBOCKER HOTEL, 1714 N. IVAR AVE., HOLLYWOOD
considered a major portal for Hollywood ghosts.
Built in 1925, star after star stayed there:
Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, and many others.
Famous director DW Griffith actually died there,
as did William Frawley, "Fred Mertz" of "The Lucy Show" fame.
Irene Gibbons jumped to her death from the 11th floor.
Rudolf Valentino's ghost has been seen in the
All-Star Cafe there many times.
Marilyn Monroe's ghost has been spotted
in the lady's restroom multiple times.

RALEIGH STUDIOS, 5300 MELROSE AVE., HOLLYWOOD
This old film studio is haunted by film crew members.
The ghost of a stagehand who fell
to his death at Stage 5 has been seen many times.
The Mexican Cantina part of the studio
is also extremely haunted.

THE ROOSEVELT HOTEL, 7000 HOLLYWOOD BLVD., HOLLYWOOD
The pool area: The ghost of Marilyn Monroe
has been spotted here and in the room
she often stayed in, Room 246

Room 928:  The ghost of Montgomery Clift
has been seen in this room and in the
hallway outside.  Clift lived here for months
during filming of "From Here To Eternity"
in 1953.  He practiced trumpet for the film
inside the room and in the hallway, and can
still be heard at times my those staying there.

Ghosts have also been seen in the
mirror in the lower lobby.
There's a "cold spot" in the Blossom Ballroom,
and the "man in black" apparition
has been seen in the same ballroom.
