CH Crawford Chevy Silverado

Chevy was a gorgeous (err...handsome ) dog.  A big boy at 27" and 85 pounds, he was the most loving Weim we've ever had.  He had an awesome head, and moved like a dream.  With no show training whatsoever, he took home a Group One in his very first UKC show, and the Gundog group had the largest entries of the show!  He earned his championship in two shows, and at his last show, took another Group One.  The day I got the phone call that bloat had killed him, I went into shock, and I think I still harbor a lot of that disbelief.  It was just too soon, too sudden, he had only just begun to really take off.  He was my handsome gooberhead, and I don't care how many Weim boys I have over the years, no one will ever take Chevy's place!
