Aramis.....Ooooh, Aramis.  My darling, precious, beloved baby boy.  Not a day goes by that I don't think of you, my sweet one.  Always, always remember that Mommy loves you, and I am counting the days until I see you again.

Aramis was the light of my life.  He was my first show dog, and with him I made a zillion mistakes, as we were learning everything on our own, through trial and error, and had no one to help us.  I have to say, for a couple of total novices, we did pretty darn well.  He even earned some group placements!  Aramis was such a character, everyone that met him fell in love with him.  Some on first sight, and the rest (those that didn't really care for the look of the Italian Greyhound), after they got to know him after a few seconds.  He had a charm, a charisma, that just couldn't be ignored.  I don't think I will ever have another baby boy wrap himself so totally around my heart - if for no other reason, than Aramis still fills my heart.  I never imagined having to live without him.  The day I lost him, my life changed, and it will never again be quite the same.  They say time lessens the pain, but that day my heart broke, and I'm not sure it will ever fully mend again.

My dearest little one, I love you forever, cherish your memory, and yearn for the day I can hold you in my arms once more.
