Thanks to the support of some of the club members, on Sunday 30th Aug, a giant letterbox drop was done throughout the Liberty Avenue Estate in the aim to inform the residents about the Junior Club move.
You can download a copy of the flyer here
See the Junior Club Page for more information on Junior Cricket.
The club invites all member to help out with the uncovering of the Liberty Avenue pitch on Saturday 5th September at 9am. The process should take no longer than one hour, but obviously, many hands make light work.
"Refreshments" are believed to be supplied afterwards
As stated in the last update (see below), the RCC were hoping for a $35,000 grant from the council to help with our project. Well, the council have granted us $55,000 for the project.
This means that the nets will be BIGGER and BETTER than we expected. The club is still putting in funds to make sure the project is done right. Whilst we are doing our best to get this job on the go, it looks like it will be finished around november/december at this stage.
COMPETITIONS TO BE WON!!
See if you can work out the Look-a-likes, or complete the quiz.
Prizes to be won for players and non-players.
The Club have been busy over the off season working with Knox City Council to ensure that cricket nets at Liberty Reserve are constructed. The Council have allocated $35 000 in their 2009/2010 budget for this project. The Club has committed funds to the project, as we believe these nets will help secure the future of our Club. By becoming Foundation Members of this project, you too can help the Club secure the future of this project. Click here for more information.
