7. Guild Dream title:  The Rowling Continuity

8. Guild dream location: 90, 35, in the Imaginarium.

9. How to Join:
Upon entering the dream, those who express interest in being sorted will head into the Colored Pad room. Each pad will explain a different aspect of the guild rules. It is also vital to read the rules website thoroughly.
When enough are waiting to be sorted, potential members will be quizzed upon how well they read the rules on the website. With a successful passing of the quiz, they will then undergo a roleplay test to see how well they perform.

10. Your Guild's Continuity:
The Rowling Continuity is based upon the magical world created by J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books, with our own unique twist. Students attend the school to hone their magic skills, while making friends and enjoying the atmosphere of a typical English boarding school. Characters based on other continuities are not permitted here, as they are not involved with the world we have weaved.

11. Style of play:
Roleplay using Continuity and our Charter.

12. Continuity's Tech Level:

A mixture of the following three. As this is a magic based school which takes place in the early 1990's, students will know of Computers while being in a medieval environment. However, technology is not permitted within the castle grounds, as the magic surrounding the area disables electronic devices. Since these are students, they will not have access to things such as armor, guns, and the like.

Medireview [Castles & villages. Steel armor and crossbows possible.]
Renaissance [Towns; guilds; colleges. Primitive gunpowder. Printing.]
Atomic [The present day. Post-1940's. Computers.]

13. Types of characters your Continuity supports:

Humans (Wizards/Witches/Warlocks/Sorcerors)
Werewolves** (Note: They must have a proper background relating to the continuity, and cannot just be created for the sake of being a werewolf.)
Magical creatures from the Harry Potter canon, with written permission from the Rah.
For character types such as Death eaters, you'll need to audition in order to be able to play as one.

14. Combat: You need to decide if you allow combat and if you do what style is used. Suggestions for combat include:
Combat is done by mutual OOC Consent and posing (freeform).

15. Backstory:
The Rowling Continuity prides itself in creating a strict and interactive roleplay environment, keeping to the realism of canon, and weaving a magical world for people to take part in. Paragraph roleplay is what we expect to see, and only the most dedicated roleplayers will be able to enter our world.

What on earth can Peeves be plotting? I doubt it's anything good..)

16. Geography and Biome:
The castle was erected in a far off, distant portion of Scotland, in Great Britain. The weather there follows the weather one usually sees in Britain. It can be very rainy, or bright sunshine. In the winter, snow covers the castle grounds.

17. Magic Items:
Each student is to have a magic wand to cast magic, as well as potions ingredients and supplies, spell books, and other materials used for school.

18. Roleplay positions:
Student
Prefect
Professor
Death Eater
Adult
Pet (*Note, these are to be a cat, rat, or owl..MUST be feral at all times.)

22. OOC Areas:

The initial entry dream is the only part of the guild where Out of Character speaking is permitted. The dreams loaded within are strictly In Character.

This image shows some members hanging out in the entry area. Remember that Digo items can only be used here and not while in the roleplay dreams.

23. Guild Positions: These are suggested positions that are helpful to have when forming and running a Guild. These are mostly OOC positions and may not effect the roleplay inside the Guild.
