Zak Zodiac became WAW british cruiserweight champion at the Talk Norwich 2-3-2008 beating Paul Tyrll 2-1 in six rounds.

August 3rd 2008 at the Marina Centre Gt Yarmouth Zebra Kid became WAW first ever European champion after beating veteran Drew McDonald in the final of an eight tournament, other Zebra victims were Tank O'Rooney of Ireland and Aron Frost of Norway. 

The Knight family won the following awards in national wrestling polls.

On April 12th at the Talk Norwich Zebra Kid beat WAW champion Erik Isaksen of Norway to become heavyweight champion of the World. The home fans at the sell out talk went wild as zk became the first Briton to hold the WAW Heavyweight title since it was introduced in 2001.
