Jade

I would like to introduce Jade, a one year old 50 pound pitbull mix. She is available through North Carolina Rottweiler Rescue for adoption.  This darling gal came from a cruelty case in Virginia, and has been in my care for over 4 months now...  Jade is current on all vaccinations, housetrained, spayed, heartworm negative and on prevention, as well as on frontline.  Jade is a happy go lucky dog, who loves to run, and play, but also knows when to be serious during training sessions.  Jade loves to play and catch a tennis ball or a stick, and she loves to jump, so she would make a excellent prospect for agility.  Jade would be a ideal pet for any home, she does great with other dogs, she loves dog friendly cats, she is great with ALL children of all ages, and she just loves people...

Jade will win her way into your family's heart... She is one special, little girl...  She will bring so much joy and happiness to that special family...

  • Why you would want to adopt Jade?

1. She is fully vaccinated, she's housetrained, spayed, on heartworm prevention, and on frontline.

2.  She has had almost 5 months continued obedience training, along with manners... She knows and understands, sit, down, stay, heel, come, over, up, kiss, kennel, go lie down, settle. On her manners, she sits and waits while getting dinner ready, sits and waits at the door (no rushing doors), does not jump on people or furniture. Does not get into your things and is quiet in the home and kennel.

3. Jade enjoys playing a multiple of games and would be great with family with kids or other dogs to play with... She loves to play ball, catch sticks, would make a great jogging partner, loves to swim, go to the lake and camping. She is also a agility prospect for someone who wants to get into the sport or who already is in the sport.

4. Jade is great with other dogs, big or small and loves to play and cuddle with cats.  She loves meeting animals.

5. Very easy to live with, very responsive to commands, willing to learn and please, her affectious attitude will bring a smile to your face.

This is Jade, a beautiful and wonderful pitbull mix.  Will you be her family?

Rocky

Rocky is about 3 years old, he was found abandoned on the side of the road huddled up in a thunderstorm howling for help... He has major skin infections as well as eye infections in both eyes... He was shot in his front leg as a puppy without surgery so his leg healed itself in a weird angle. The bullet is still in the leg, according to the vet after X-rays were performed... Some of his teeth have also been either filed down or he is a chronic chewer, of which, I haven't seen yet if that's the case... Skin scrapes were performed 3 times to check for mange, and all three times, it has come back negative...(maybe flea allergies since he was covered with fleas) He is also heartworm negative and has already been vaccinated and neutered...

He is a absolute sweetheart, very friendly and approachable... Surprisingly strong despite the injury to his leg. He rides very well in the car and sits or lies down calmly... Has done very well in the kennel and thankfully for my peace of mind, doesn't throw a fuss or bark in it... Very Happy Has been introduced to Isabella already, and was great with her... Has not and probably will not be introduced to Baxter officially, so as not to stress him out so I will never fully be able to give a good evaluation on if he is safe with same-sex or not... Rocky saw Mr. Kiki and barked at him.. Will be watching this situation closely, I had the feeling it was a "come play with me" bark instead of "prey" or "threatning" bark, but will be taking this slowly to see how he is with cats and until him and I get to know each other better...

Rocky has done very well with my dogs and Jade, who is another foster... Today on a walk, he showed a little to much attention towards two small yapping dogs, so possible not a home with little dogs... So far, he is showing some interest in Mr. Kiki but hasn't tried any funny stuff, so, so far, so good on that aspect...

Rocky is a special needs rottweiler and is available for adoption through North Carolina Rottweiler Rescue...  Rocky is facing a possible amputation of his left leg, and we will know for sure once NCRR's vet looks over his X-rays... NCRR desparately needs donations to help with Rocky's medical bills, and if you will donate for Rocky's cause, go to NCRR's website, http://ncrottierescue.net/ , and look for the paypal logo... Make sure you put the donation is for Rocky...

If you are interested in adopting Rocky or have any questions regarding Rocky, you may contact me at faithatwar220203@aol.com or go to NCRR's website to fill out a application...
