Faeries

Do faeries exist?

Way back in time in Ireland, there was a group of magickal people who lived their own ways and had their own religion. This people lived in Ireland for a long time until another stronger group conquered them. The people retreated into the mountains and hills. They say these people shrinked and are now known as faeries. So one could say yes they did exist ~ a group of ancient people lived in Ireland or no they didn't exist ~ small flying people aren't real. But could small flying people exist?

Legend has it that faeries can be good or bad. They are mischeivous and love to play pranks. You could give htem gifts and they won't cause you any trouble. They love flowers and places such as meadows and high mountain tops. They are the air elemental being. Their magick is called faerie magick and people can invoke them and ask for help.

Characteristics of fae folk:

Air faeries: slender bodies, skilled in languages, and very musically talented

Earth faeries: help plants grow and can assist in healing

Water faeries: deal with poetry and feelings and can heal a broken heart

Fire faeries: full of enery and can invoke passions of others

Most faeries are good-hearted but do have a mischeivious and naughty side, which they express by playing pranks. They respect the earth and life but do not worship it.

Some of their favorite plants and herbs are Mistletoe, Foxglove, Jasmine, Primrose, Cowslip, Tulip, Straw, Strawberries, Dates, and Poinsettias.

Fearie Dances:

Faery dances are beautiful, graceful and intoxicating. They are said to be good musicians. It is a rumor that when one is daydreaming they are really hypnotized by fae music.
