Rosa's most well known role is on Strong Medicine.  She plays Dr. Luisa Magdelena Delgado, an OB/GYN, family practitioner at Rittenhouse Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She insists on being called Lu, and has a son named Marc that she had when she was 16.  Even though she gave birth at such a young age, Lu insisted on going to med school and getting her degree.  When Lu completed med school she opened a free clinic in south Philly.  Facing financial problems, Lu teamed up with Dr. Dana Lee Stowe (Janine Turner) to make the Ritttenhouse Women's Health Center.  Lu is now engaged to be married to millionaire Jonas Ray, that she met at the clinic.  The RWHC consists of Lu's free clinic and Danas's private practice that caters to the higher income group.  In season 3 episode 6 Dana left Philly to be with her two adopted daughters in Virginia with the rest of her family.  In her absence Dr. Robert Jackson (Phillip Casnoff) brought in ex-Army doctor Andy Campbell (Patricia Richardson) to  fill Dana's void.  After about two and a half seasons Andy left the show after she was nominated and was accepted for the role of Surgeon General, she packed up her family and moved back to Washington D.C.  So again the RWHC was needing a new doctor.  The management decided on Dr. Dylan West, but it just so happens that Lu and Dylan have known each other for a while.  When she was a first year at Philadelphia County Hospital he was the chief resident.  He was always giving Lu a hard time and knew just how to push her buttons.  Strong Medicine has recently ended with the birth of Lu and Jonas's first child Milegro (miracle) and Dr. West and his daughter living in harmony.  Strong Medicine is a medical drama that airs on Lifetime Fridays at 1:30 am,  Saturdays at 1:00 am, and Sundays at 12:00 and 1:00 am.  It is cable tv's highest rated drama, and is one of only a few tv series to reach it's 100th episode and be in syndication.  It is a wonderful program and I hope and that if you don't watch it already that you will soon.

Rick Schroder - plays Dr. Dylan West a talented yet presumptuous women's health specialist who joins the hospital as Dr. Lu Delgado's new partner.  He's known for challenging everything and anything in order to offer the best possible patient care.  Lu and Dylan don't always get along because Dylan knows just how to push her buttons.
