Rope Rope & Anchor Junior Football Club was formed over 30 years ago in the local pub of the same name. As Argentina were the World Champions at the time, we adopted the famous sky blue and white stripes which we have kept throughout our history.
We play our home matches at the Hillock Lane playing fields, right in the middle of Woolston in Warrington.
We are always on the lookout for players with ability but just as importantly a willingness to work and compete. We always welcome new players and parents and encourage all parents to join in and play their part.
For any parent who wants to be really 'hands on', we will provide the kit, equipment and pitches for you to to manage your own team. We will also pay for your professional coaching qualifications which we encourage all of our managers and coaches to hold.
All of our officials are CRB Police checked for your peace of mind.
