Did you recently hear about Rooney and want to know more about them? Well then you've come to the right place.

 Rooney originates from Southern California. Back in 1999, the boys met and decided to take a latch at forming a band. The cool thing was, was that there were no ads placed in the paper or auditions held to find the right members. Rooney naturally formed as a band and have become well known for their upbeat concerts and catchy soft rock melodies. Their new album, entitled Calling the World, was released in the summer of 2007. Apart from touring and making their own records, Rooney has been apart of some Tribute Albums. They performed Here Today, Gone Tomorrow for the We're A Happy Family: A Tribute To The Ramones album, and also worked on a Queen tribute album. They performed Death On Two Legs , a song that is said to come off of Queen's best album (In the Band's opinion), A Night At The Opera.

  The band has toured with acts such as the Jonas Brothers, Kelly Clarkson, Locksley, The Redwalls, The Bridges, Weezer, The Donnas, Fergie, and Vanessa Hudgens.
