An admirer of fine art but without artistic ability himself, Patryk Andrews works by day in a high finance position that his well-to-do father had more than a little hand in getting him. Gay and liberal, Patryk knows he's a big disappointment to his parents, but thrives in a job that leaves him more spiritually and emotionally empty than his last abusive and dysfunctional relationship.

A gifted painter from an affectionate, supportive clan of parents and three younger brothers whom he predictably ruled, Keir Monroe is an artist who has lost his way after the death of his lover three years previous. A chance encounter with Patryk sparks Keir's creative spirit, however, and more than a little lust.

But what starts off as a whirlwind physical obsession soon turns into more than either Keir or Patryk ever bargained for when both are faced with demons from their pasts...

Ingenue’s Choice by Gracie C. McKeever is the second book in the Zara’s Bois series. Again Zara is send down to earth to play matchmaker. But this time getting her two new charges together appears to be a lot harder than the first time, as Patryk and Keir seem to be a very unlikely match. Again I loved to read how Zara manages to conquer this challenge in her own unique style, witty and humorous banter included. The developing romance between Patryk and Keir is very sweet and was a pleasure to read about. The sex in this book is scorching hot and there is some mild BDSM, too.

The story itself didn't reach the emotional depth I had expected from the blurb, but otherwise Gracie McKeever does a great job at creating a lively and sometimes very funny story, while depicting her characters in a very believable way. Ingenue's Choice is a very enjoyable paranormal story and I'm off now to read the third book in the series, Bouncer's Folly.

Detective Gamble has never let a women outside of his family be any more than a one night stand.  Well maybe a little longer, but never anything long-term.  Then he met officer Tally Cavaleri while doing an Internal Affairs investigation. She was not going to let him scare her.  Her cool, bad-as-I-wanna-be attitude was what initially drew him to her. Gamble found Tally more than he expected in many ways. When she took charge of their relationship Gamble found he did not want to refuse to follow her commands.

This is a hot afternoon quickie.  Ms. McKeever has a wonderful writing style. Her writing is easy to read with a good pace.  The plot for this book was imaginative, and well written.  I was glued to the story from the beginning to the end.  The sex was just right to have me gasping and wanting my toys as soon as I finished the story.  Both Gamble and Tally were well developed and interesting characters.  I thought about being Tally and having Gamble to control.  It was an idea that I still like to think about.  I recommend this book to all readers that like a woman domination story with steamy sex and a lovely ending..

Zara’s Bois:
When the powers-that-be make the decision to return a selfish party-girl to Earth on three missions of redemption, can romance and mayhem be far behind? One hot and trendy gay nightclub, two bickering angels and three unlikely pairs add up to steamy nights between the sheets and emotional days of healing and revelation outside of them when the ultimate architect throws His hat in the ring to fix up three wounded souls with their mates.
Bouncer’s Folly:

Before her death in a tragic accident, Zara Benjamin was the epitome of spoiled rich bad-girl with no direction or purpose in life. When she's brought back to Earth in the body of rich directionless bad-boy Trevor Carmichael, she thinks it's just destiny screwing with her life again.

Slacker Trevor Carmichael is charming and smart enough to go far and accomplish much but is too busy proving his parents right by partying hard and freeloading off his forbearing twin, Travis. Fate soon intervenes, however, to stop Trevor's self-destructive spiral and give Zara one more chance to get things right.

Personal trainer and part-time bouncer Ramsey Logan has been the reliable go-to guy all his life and doesn't have the time or inclination to entertain people who aren't equally so. But there's something about the reckless and sexy Trevor that has Ramsey looking passed the impulsive façade to the wounded soul beneath.

Bouncer's Folly started out a tad confusing for this reviewer; with certain switches of points of views but that can be excused once you dig further into this story. There were certain slangs that I thought this story could do without but there is no denying that Ms. McKeever is a force when it comes to writing.  The sensual love between Trevor and Ramsey is undeniable and the issues that threatens them together and a part is another thing all together. The suspense is there, the scorching heat that leaves you wanting more is ever so present on ever page of this tale. Ms. McKeever wrote a MM Story that does not show homosexual and mindless nymphos but as real, true human beings. I applaud her talents. The chemistry that springs forth in this story is one that will keep you you rooting for Zara's bois. Aside from a few minor faults this story is beautifl and deliciously scorching.

Spoiled, aimless party-girl Zara Benjamin has never had to work a day in her life. At twenty-eight, she's just discovered something she wants as much as her best friend since college, the unattainable Quincy Powers. But when an elevator door opens minus the car, all these hopes and dreams are forever dashed…or are they?

Successful financial whiz Quincy Powers made his fortune on Wall Street before his thirtieth birthday and left the rat race behind before the stress of trading could claim his sanity. Instead of the game keeping him awake, however, he now has the horrible sound of his best friend's screams to haunt his nights.

Until two angels intervene and send Zara on a mission in the body of her twin brother, Zack Benjamin...

This story plays from all different angles to build a strong and desirable peice. Twists of characters and events cause the reader to hold on and refuse to put it down. It gives you a look at how things are on the other side of the white ligt, and teaches that love pulls from all sides.

I couldn't stop smiling at Zack's character and personality. It is a typical male persona with all the right smiles. Quince is the perfect match for Zack's character and he makes you want to cheer for his drive for a life long partner.

The author does an amazing job using all her emotions in this story to evolve it to an ending that will leave you needing more.

Four roses and a recommended read.

The Big Bad Wolf a hero? Sleeping Beauty a man? Use of slang language in a fairy tale? Yes, this is just some of the many…shall we say different elements in Nine Inches of Snow and the Ebony Princess. First I must say this was a delightful tale that had me chuckling from the start.

Ms. McKeever has taken several fairy tales, intertwined them and given them her own twist. The main characters are hot for each other from the start and their chemistry seems to jump from the page. David is a complete Alpha Male who always gets what he wants including Aziza, who I might add is a lot more independent and strong, willed then David first realizes.

Reading this story was a wonderful way to pass the afternoon. There was only one thing this reviewer couldn’t get into and that was the use of slang language from Aziza. From saying things like ‘Homeboy’ and various other phrases didn’t seem natural to me. The slang seemed to be more forced that flow naturally. For instance Homeboy should have been something more like “Homey or Fool.” Other than that little pet-peeve I have. This was a wonderful story and I am giving it 3 roses! And if you are a twisted fairytale fan then please pick up a copy of Nine Inches of Snow and the Ebony Princess.
