Ringmap.zip plots the far-field triggering rings on a Mercator map once you have entered an epicenter.
Imp15.zip is the Interactive Mapping Program developed for the USGS. It's a DOS program but runs in a DOS window under Windows.
This is the Earthquake Probability Calculation Program. It runs under DOS. It's called test_pro.exe I've included some instructions since it's not obvious how to run the program.
Stereo Shell is a DOS file handler, something like Windows Explorer. It makes handling files much easier. It's called stspkz.exe. Install it on your system, don't try to run it from here!
This is the Predicted Area Map program. It plots a circle on a United States base map.
If you need to do frequent historical earthquake searches and don't want to be calling NEIC all the time, I have the solution. I've downloaded a 100 year database from the NEIC PDE files covering the years 1900 thru 1999 and written a program to search them, very similar to the one NEIC uses. The whole thing comes on 8 floppies. It's a DOS program but runs in a DOS window under Windows. The output file is compatible with IMP. I have to charge for this one to cover my cost of developing, shipping and handling. It's $40 delivered by snailmail to your door. You can order by e-mail but I'll need cash, check or money order before I ship.
