You read that right, I am working on a second part to Life of a Dog. While this game is still in it's baby stages, and due to computer issues, I may not work on it a great deal for at least a month, I still have a little bit done. I've also began to code some of the special features, which I will list below:
- 8 different character classes to play the game as, each with custom battle commands. So prefectionists can be kept busy for a while.
- New game plus allows you to replay the game with all your items and experiance, allowing tons of replay value.
- Finite number of battles, so all the repetition of battles in normal RPGs is now eliminated. Once you beat a battle, it's gone forever. Of course, if you feel the need to level up even more than the game allows, you can seek arena battles where you can refight a number of foes.
- Little RTP used, a big advancement from the first game.
- Enter Hero Name Dialouge
This will change as the game becomes more completed, but in the meantime, peep these screens of the game so far!

This is what the title screen looks like. It's slighty off center (Due to the way I went about making it), but I think it looks pretty nice.

This is just a screen of the status menu. As you can see, the protagonist sports a much more mature and wolfish look in this game, and right now he is armed with the "Fighter" Class. The equipment part will change once the game really gets started.

And of course, a battle screen. Dog has the "Blackbelt" class equiped in this screen, with the class' special ability "Dodge" (Allows you to avoid all attacks until your next turn). Here, Dog is fighting a low-ly grunt.
Release date is unknown, but stay tuned for more info and screen shots.
