A Fan's View On Roddy Piper

Whether you're for or against him when it comes to professional wrestling, you certainly have to respect him! He fought and defeated the greats in wrestling, and became the greatest. Unlike Hogan and Flair, he didn't get as many title shots, (eventhough he deserved them), but he did magic whenever he entered the ring.
He also spoke his mind, be it in his own Piper's Pit or alone in the ring facing several members of the former nWo. He clearly stated all facts without exaggerating, and - as one of his T-Shirts read - showed no fear.
Not only his wrestling style is unique, also his appearance, as well as the fact that he still looks hot at age 52. He fought some of his best matches after getting an artificial hip, that is amazing, too, in my opinion.
Furthermore, he is a great actor, and I'm sad that only half of his movies have been shown on TV here in Germany. However, I do love and treasure the ones I have seen.
