This is my 1950 Fargo 1/2 ton pickup truck. I purchased the truck for $2500cnd ($1800US) about a year ago. The way you see it now is pretty much the way it was when I bought it. No mayor mods have yet been made.

I spent most of last summer getting the essentials back into shape in order to pass Vehicle Safety Inspection.
The drum brakes got freshened up a bit with new shoes, new springs, rebuilt wheel cylinders and a good clean out. The draglink was worn out and after searching high and low for a new one I finally found one with a price-tag of $300. You gotta pay to play right? After the draglink was taken care of I took it for a short illegal ride down the street to test it out, during which I noticed several things that were going to need some more attention.
The speedometer cable was replaced, the parking brake was worn out and the linkage had to be replaced and adjusted. New brake lights were installed and the windshield wiper linkage had to be repaired.
It was not time to devote more time getting the engine up to par. The old falthead six ran great and all it needed was an oil change, a carburator rebuild, a new fuel filter and new plugs, wires, points and cap.
After all that was said and done, my pride and joy passed the Safety Inspection with flyingi colors.
It ran great all summer long, so without further adue, here are more pictures
