First light After two months of work, and painless struggling to get things working. It took me taking the scope out to a darker location with more people around for their wisdom. Come to find out, the secodnary was off center by maybe 1/8". After some slight field adjustments it came to focus with every eyepiece in the arsenal. I also had my C8-NGT set up that got very little use, poor Celestron. After some fiddling around, we settled on M42 as our first target. Big and easy to find. It was the most incredible view I have ever had, it beat my own photos. The detail in nebulosity was incredible. We had about 8-10 members from my local club that spent quite some time ohhhing and ahhhing over the views. That night we pulled in Mercury, Mars, Saturn, M42, M51, and the Owl nebula. It was truly and incredible experience. It brought a whole new energy to my hobby, I mean obsession. I wanted to thank everyone for all their wisdom and assistance in this process. Clear skies, Tamri & RodneyIt truly is doneWell after last nights work and tonight's adjustments the truss is done. Tonight I got an 1 hour and a half in of lunar viewing. Since it was the only thing out. Everything works great. Thanks, RodneyThe deed is done I can't believe the scope finally got to focus this evening. Other than the mirror not being mounted yet and a few other tweaks I should be great to go. I have to say that this is one big piece of glass and it screams for 2" eyepieces. Clear skies, Rodney

Well after last nights work and tonight's adjustments the truss is done. Tonight I got an 1 hour and a half in of lunar viewing. Since it was the only thing out. Everything works great.
Thanks, Rodney
