My name is Rochelle and I currently reside on the North Shore of Auckland. Since my youth I have had a passion for art but it was not until six or so years ago that I finally really started finding the inspiration to fully commit to my work and with that my aspirations for what I can do with my art have proceeded to grow. As a person I like to set myself high goals and always commit to following through and reaching those goals and my art is a huge part of that. I find great enjoyment while creating my pieces and immense satisfaction when I finally complete them. I hope you all enjoy browsing through my work as much as I enjoyed creating it.
A few pieces I have currently exhibited at Bruce Mason Center - Takapuna

I thoroughly appreciate and enjoy various styles and varieties of paintings but when it comes to my work I enjoy using different medium as it creates a depth to the art work, I find great inspiration from New Zealand and its culture. I have found myself enjoying contemporary landscapes which blends in with my love of New Zealand as there is so many beautiful parts of this country that I would like to try and recreate in my work. I like to use alot of various bright colours and shades and for my work to try and portray a sense of happiness.
You can email rochelle.may@hotmail.com to enquire about any of the paintings unless otherwise stated that they are not for sale or sold.
Feel free to sign my guest book and let me know your thoughts.
