This is what I do when I get bored; if you feel the need to tell me what you think, there is a comment box below for that purpose.
I doubt this music is worthy of outside use, but if you happen to download it or use it, don't be a fool by claiming it as your own. I myself don't even claim this as my own. All "music" is but a reflection of a greater source, a "universal feeling" that we all attune to, thus in response to this feeling we create the result, a song. Since music is an emotion that originates from a higher source, it belongs to everyone. No one can take credit for it, we do not have control over such a thing above us. We are only meant to reflect, respond, and create from it.
MIDI files:
"Run Still" - a piece for Harp, a little more inspired than the rest.
"Effect of the Vibes" - created this one in a short period, not very professional, but the feeling's there.
"From Over There" - inspired from the wonderful genre of Progressive Rock.
"Early Rise for Piano" - I'm not very excelled in piano works, but the feeling's there.
"Early Rise for Harp" - this is actually the original; I was told that it may sound better with piano. You tell me.
"Untitled for Piano" - the first one I ever created, I think I was 14.
"Progressive Techno" - kind of out there, sort of an experiment.
"Duet for Vibes and Harp" - created earlier when I was new to more than one instrument. *sigh* excuses, excuses..
Das Engel Symphony.mid -an itty bitty inspiration from Rammstein's "Engel"
Lady Symphony.mid - STYX's "Lady" symphonized
moonlight sonata-mvmnt1 revisited.mid - Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata Movmt. # 1" for piano, given to various other instruments.
Carol of the Bells.mid - you always hear those modern remakes of old christmas tunes, right, annoying right?
"Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" - 'Music Theory 1' project: re-write this song to my liking. Are you liking?
... Good News!
I understand that many things can be edited, changed, or added to these songs. If you agree, suggest your ideas in the comment area, OR, even better: if you have a MIDI sequencing software, fix them up yourself. ---[No Software? Visit the Free Software Page]---
If someone gives you a dollar, and you start a business with it, and that business thrives immensely, giving you wealth and fortune, all because of that one one dollar, you SHALL NOT TAKE CLAIM over that success, because the cause of it came from elsewhere, it was a gift. History's greatest composers do not cause us to have such emotions from their work, the source of the emotion is plainly The Source. They are the middle-man per se; it goes: Source - Composer - Listener/Responder.
The composer is only the Gate-Keeper to the blissful realm within. I conclude by saying: this universal-source, that "All-That-Is", the divine "One" created, is our gift. This Gift allows us to create successful masterpieces. WE are not the cause of this success. We would not be able to create what we call "music" without the Gift.
