Yo!
I added a handful of tour dates and heavily improved my merchandise page with scans of the stuff. I'll probably tweak it a bit more in the next few days. A special thanks goes to LB_PM5K for the awesome stickers! Sadly, that's about all for this update, since there's not a whole lot of info on the new cd(s?)...

4/6/05

Small update this time; I added a few more tour dates. Yeah that is about it.

3/31/05

Lee Alexander finished the PM5K Tribute "Heroes And Villains" music video! This video effing rocks and he, along with everyone who sent him clips, did one hell of a job. Also, I, otherwise known as "Robocizzle The Soundman" did the music for the intro. What's that? You want to watch it? Well, you can download it one of two ways (I guess you could do both if you really wanted to, but whatever):

Again, great job to everyone involved. This really shows how hardcore the Powerfans are. Almost brings a tear to my eye. Okay, not really, but you get where I'm going with this. Stop reading and download the bloody video already!!

The Cizzle is out.

3/25/05

It's been a while since the last update, eh? Well, there's not much PM5K news to talk about. In case you haven't noticed, they are on tour (dates listed above) and will be hitting the east coast in April. The site has been tweaked a bit as well. I've overhauled the lyrics pages to make the songs easier to find on there. The scrollbars have been changed from that gray color, and I've hidden the borders around some of the pictures being used as links. I also just added a page to promote Powerman 5000 and Megatronic Records, clicky here. I'll probably add more stuff to that page soon. Remember, if you haven't done your share of promoting Powerman 5000, start now!! These guys need our help now more than ever before, so tell your friends, relatives, co-workers, music store workers, complete strangers, WHOEVER! Just get the message out about "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly Vol. 1," the new tour, or the new CD. I know it seems worthless sometimes, but it's worth a shot. It's better to tell a hundred people about it and only get one person to buy the cd than to not have anyone at all! I'm going to cut this off before I start to ramble, so until next time...

2/19/05

Have you been wondering what Powerman 5000 crap I own? Well, now you don't have to. I've compiled a list of all the PM5K-related stuff that I have. Check the "My Merch" page.

Holy blown motors, Batman! News from Spider:

"O.K., so here's a long overdue update. First off, the new record is just about done. We still have to track a bit more and then mix, but I'm pretty sure we are done writing. Although who knows... No official release date yet because we are exploring all the options in terms of getting this thing into your grubby little hands. What is it going to sound like? Well, let's just say if you like calculated, bloated Hoobastank ballads or radio friendly nu metal or over produced, auto tuned, cookie cutter rock then you will hate the new Powerman 5000 record. Now, I'm NOT going to say the standard bullshit like, "this is our heaviest, most brutal record yet." That's so boring and predictable. Not to mention, not true. I will say that, this record is raw and real. My goal on this one was to put together a bunch of songs that were meant to be played live. The kind of songs you could jam on with your friends in a garage band. I don't know, it is what it is. Rock 'n Roll, punk rock, metal, whatever... it's PM5K. I'm digging it!!! We are getting back on the road soon. I'm sure most of you have seen a handful of west coast gigs popping up. There will be more to come. We will be touring a little differently this year. Instead of long drawn out runs, we will be doing shorter regional blasts. So, we will be hitting the East and the Mid West and the South. Just not right in a row. We will let you know when all dates are confirmed. Who the fuck can you expect to see on stage?! With the revolving door in this band, sometimes I'm not even sure myself. I'm pretty certain I'll be there. Mr. 7 and Siggy will be there. Adam, sadly will not be joining us for this run of west coast dates. He is active in the writing and recording of the new record, but is opting out of the live performance end of things (atleast right now). Hitting the stage on guitar will be ex Alien Ant Farm guitarist Terry Corso and ex Halfcocked guitarist Johnny Rock. I must tell you the rehearsals with these guys have been blazing!! As I always say, "don't be afraid of the future"... Well, that's enough for you to chew on for now. THANX for being the coolest fans around, see you on the road."

Huh. That seems somewhat bittersweet. Maybe it's just me. As cool as Terry Corso and Johnny Rock seem, I'd still rather see Mike or at least Adam on stage. Unless, of course, he does in fact do some of the midwest/east coast shows. You've gotta love Spider for ripping on Hoobastank. Hey, someone had to do it. Oh, and on the Megatronic Records board, the "Megatronic Records" section has been replaced with a "Social And Political" forum. How ironic. At any rate, I am outie 5000.

2/9/05

Ladies and gentlemen, what you've all been waiting for: lyrics to "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly Volume One"!! Okay, maybe not, but they're done nonetheless. Now I can die happy.

2/8/05

The "Anyone For Doomsday?" FAQ page is up. It should and/or will answer absolutely every question you may have about the lost album. So don't email me questions about it unless you have triple-checked that your question is not included in the guide. Oh, yeah, don't make a new thread about it on the board, either. Thank you. (Yes, I'm still working on the GBU lyrics, by the way.)

2/6/05...Again

The lyrics for "Riot Time," "The Way It Is," and "Heroes and Villains" are done. GBU Volume One lyrics coming soon!

2/6/05

I finished swapping servers since FreeServers screwed me over again. Goodbye FreeServers, hello FreeWebs! Yeah, that's about it.

2/2/05

No updates in a while. Sorry, d00dz. Well, let's start from the top. There are three new tracks out, "Heroes and Villains," "Riot Time," and "The Way It Is." Check around the net for "Riot Time" and "The Way It Is," But "Heroes and Villians" can be heard on the PM5K Site. Lyrics on those songs soon. Mike Tempesta (M.33) left the band. Yes, we'll all miss him. A new tour is on the way, we just don't know when. The same goes with the new CD. Speaking of CDs, for all you kids thinking about buying the 2003 "Anyone For Doomsday?" on eBay for a hundred bucks--DON'T BLOODY DO EET!! There are some legal kinks that need to be worked out, but it will be back in the Megatronic store soon. And about said store, there are four t-shirts to buy.
More news when there is, you frivolous buttplugs!!
