Robin's Charity Site

Days 1 & 2 Depart from London for Santiago, Chile. Transfer to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Early flight to Punta Arenas and road transfer to Torres del Paine National Park. We'll stay overnight at a secluded camp at the edge of the Park.

Day 4 Our first day's trek is along Lago del Toro under the shadow of the peaks of the Torres Massif. We cross the open grasslands and climb to our camp on the shores of glacier-blue coloured Lake Pehoe. Approximately eight hours trekking.

Day 5 A full day's trek to the spectacular Grey Glacier. We trek through the pristine forest to the Grey Lake and witness the extraordinary scenery of the huge ice floes emerging from the Patagonian ice field. After lunch we retrace our steps for a second night at Pehoe camp. Approximately eight hours trekking.

Day 6 A full day's trekking to the French Valley. We trek steadily up-hill to reach the heart of Paine mountains surrounded by the peaks of the Massif. We have one of the world's best mountain panoramas, with glaciers, high rugged peaks and the chance of seeing condors soaring amongst the pinnacles. After lunch we trek downhill for our last night at Pehoe camp. Approximately eight hours trekking.

Day 7 An early start to Torres camp. We trek along the stunningly beautiful Nordenskjorld Lake. A long, hard day trekking along a path that undulates along the edge of the lake. Our efforts are rewarded with fantastic trekking and superb glacial scenery along the way. Approximately nine hours trekking.

Day 8 Today is the ultimate trekking day to the foot of the awesome Torres del Paine, granite pinnacles over 1,000m in height. At the foot of the towers lies a beautiful lake, and from here we can enjoy the scenic wonder of the Rio Paine Valley. We'll spend a final night in camp and we'll also celebrate our achievements with a traditional Patagonian barbecue.

Day 9 An early start back to Punta Arenas and flights to Santiago. Transfer to hotel.

Day 10 Free day in Santiago and celebratory dinner.

Day 11 Depart from Santiago for flight to London.

Day 12 Arrrive back London.
