Welcome!
My name is Robin and I'm 39 years old. I'm the mother of two boys, Caleb 4, and Grayson who is 3 years old. I'm the wife of Blaine - a wonderful husband and father.
I started WW in January of 2004. My beginning weight was 305. I quickly lost 35 pounds and became pregnant - which was my goal at the time. YAY! My husband continued on Weight Watchers throughout my pregnancy. He lost an incredible 110 pounds - going from 335 to 225. And he's maintained this weight loss! In fact, he's now lost 130 pounds - he weighs 205!
During my pregnancy, I gained back the 35 pounds. Okay, I could live with that. Afterall, I was having a baby. But, once Caleb was born, I had no desire to do Weight Watchers. So...I continued to gain.
In September of 2005, I reached 319 pounds. At this point, my weight was out of control. I did not like myself - plain and simple. So I started back on Weight Watchers and joined the YMCA. I quickly lost 35 pounds and became pregnant with my second son, Grayson. This time, I was determined not to lose momentum. My doctor recommended that I gain 15 pounds and said I could continue my exercise at the Y. While the end of my pregnancy brought bedrest, I did manage to gain only the recommended 15 pounds.
Once Grayson was born at the end of June 2006, I was back on the WW bandwagon! Full force!! I have currently (as of 5/25/07) lost 142 pounds!! WOOHOO! Not bad for 21 months worth of work - especially since I had a baby during that time - so you can really subtract 9 months! I'm exercising at the Y and following the plan to the best of my abilities. My goal is to weigh 159.5 - exactly half of my highest weight! And I'm going to do it! One day at a time!
P.S. - I did achieve my goal weight!! YAY! I have lost a whole me!
Things I love about WW:
Dropping sizes - Bye-bye 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10 and the occasional 8 - I'm currently wearing size 10 jeans - and even the occasional size 8!! Yeah!
My love of exercise. (I wish I could go back and see my high school phys ed teacher and tell her what I can do!) I'm teaching classes at the Y and loving every minute of it!

August 2006 - 55 pounds gone!

Here we are in Cancun in October of 2006! This is 75 pounds gone for me! And look at my hubby! He's maintained his 130 pound loss for 2 years now!
