After what seems like an eternity, I've finally added something new. It seems that Diablo II has been behaving strangely. 10/09/2003
I'm slowly starting to become interested in the presidential race -- not an easy thing when you consider the current contenders. But with the economcy in the toilet and with Iraq looking more and more "quagmirey," finding an alternative to George W. Bush is actually important.
Howard Dean
On paper, Bob Kerry looks appealing -- a war hero with tons of experience. But quite frankly, he bores me. Judging by his performance four years ago in the Democratic primaries, I'm not alone. In fact, turth be told, I frequently confuse him with Joh Kerry who is also running for president.
Joseph Lieberman is less an actual candidate than he is a clone of Bush. As such, he doesn't really inspire me. Why vote for the clone when the original is already in the White House and doing a lackluster job?
Wesley Clark
Finally, a candidate that Trekkies can really get behind.

This web page is getting too big. Time to start splitting it up.
I also keep remembering TV shows that I miss. It's time to make that a seperate page.

I was checking out my webpage using Blazer, the web browser in my Handspring Treo 270 smartphone/PDA and it looked pretty good. It also knew how to properly handle the mailto link. Even my ugly, kludgy cheap portal page, which was created by making a bunch of tables and dragging and dropping links into Netscape Composer a few years ago comes out looking alright if you don't mind a lot of scrolling. This is a good example of both the flexibility of cascading stylesheets (the CSS that my web page uses degrades very gracefully, allowing the browser to strip out all the decorations and still display the page properly) and the sophistication of PalmOS based web browsers (handling a fairly ugly table layout that uses no CSS). My Treo 270 is well over a year old and is due to be replaced by a newer, more sophisticated model which promises to be even more powerful.
